    摘要: A vehicular lamp unit including a flat-surfaced light source module and a projection lens that projects the image of light emitted from the light source module to the front as an inverted image. The light source module is comprised of a substrate and a light-emitting diode element disposed on the substrate and is formed therein with a subwavelength grating that reduces the reflection of light; and the formation density of the subwavelength grating is varied from position to position so as to vary the distribution of light emission intensity in the inverted image projected to the front.

    摘要: A lamp unit including mirror member 18 having an upward reflecting surface 18a, which reflects part of reflected light from a reflector 16 upward and is disposed between the reflector 16 and a projection lens 12. The mirror member 18 can be moved in the direction of an optical axis Ax and can take a reference position, where the front end edge 18a1 of the upward reflecting surface 18a is located at the rear focal point F of the projection lens 12, and a front movement position, which is located forward a predetermined distance from the reference position. When the mirror member is moved to the front movement position, part of the reflected light from the reflector 16 passes through a space behind the mirror member 18 so as to be incident on the lower region of the projection lens 12.

    摘要: A vehicular headlamp unit using a light-emitting element as a light source includes a projection lens arranged on an optical axis that extends in a vehicle longitudinal direction, and first and second light source units arranged rearward of the projection lens. The first light source unit includes a first light-emitting element arranged in a vicinity of the optical axis further rearward than a rear-side focal point of the projection lens, a first reflector arranged so as to cover the first light-emitting element from above and structured so as to reflect light from the first light-emitting element forward toward the optical axis, and a first mirror component having an upward-facing reflective surface that extends rearward generally along the optical axis from a vicinity of the rear-side focal point so as to reflect a portion of the reflected light from the first reflector upward. The second light source unit includes a second mirror component including a downward-facing reflective surface that extends diagonally downward toward a lamp rear side from a front end edge of the upward-facing reflective surface, a second light-emitting element arranged on the second mirror component facing forward and diagonally downward below the optical axis, a second reflector structured so as to reflect light from the second light-emitting element upward and generally converge such light at a region in a vicinity of the rear-side focal point on the downward-facing reflective surface, and a third reflector arranged downward of the second light-emitting element which reflects light from the second light-emitting element forward so that such light passes through a lower space of the projection lens.

The semiconductor light emitting devices are mounted on the plate-like partition member in respective reflecting areas such that optical axes of the semiconductor light emitting devices are directed in a direction substantially perpendicular to a lamp optical axis.
