摘要: The present invention provides a printing apparatus and voltage control method that can track instantaneous ON/OFF changes in the printing elements of the printhead and provide a steady voltage supply thereto, as well as restrain the voltage drop attendant upon such rapid load transitions. The present invention controls the drive voltage that drives the printhead including a plurality of printing elements mounted in a printing apparatus by inputting data transmitted from an external device, counting the number of printing elements to be driven, evaluating the extent of the load of the next single print cycle to be applied to the printhead, inputting an evaluation signal indicating the results of that evaluation to a voltage control unit that supplies a controlled voltage so as to drive the plurality of printing elements of the printhead, and adding a compensation voltage that compensates for the load-induced voltage drop that occurs when the printhead is driven.

摘要: A production method of a PVDF monofilament according to the present invention comprises a drawing step of drawing a melt-spun PVDF monofilament; and a dry thermal relaxation treatment step of subjecting the drawn PVDF monofilament to a relaxation thermal treatment in a gas phase at a temperature between 220° C. inclusive and 300° C. and under such conditions that a relaxation rate falls between 4% inclusive and 10% and that a passing time is not more than 5 seconds, thereby obtaining the PVDF monofilament satisfying the relation represented by Eq (1) below; Y≧d3×2×10−7−d2×2×10−4+d×1.17×10−2+73.11  (1) (where d indicates a diameter (&mgr;m) and Y a knot strength (kgf/mm2)) and having a knot elongation of not less than 24% and a straight elongation of not less than 30%.

摘要: A process of producing a high toughness iron-based amorphous alloy strip, using a single roll liquid quenching method, the strip having a thickness of more than 55 &mgr;m up to 100 &mgr;m and a width of 20 mm or more and having a fracture strain &egr;f satisfying the relationship &egr;f>0.1 where &egr;f=t/(D-t), t=thickness of the strip, and D=bent diameter upon fracture, &egr;f being determined by bending the strip with a free cooling surface thereof facing outward, the process comprising the steps of: ejecting a molten metal alloy through a nozzle; applying the ejected molten metal alloy to a surface of a rotating roll; allowing the applied molten metal alloy to be quenched by the roll surface to form an amorphous strip of the metal alloy, the strip being quenched at a cooling rate, determined at a free surface thereof, of 103° C./sec or more in a temperature range of from 500° C. to 200° C.; and continuously coiling the quenched strip at a temperature of 200° C. or lower.

摘要: The present invention provides a microwave plasma processing method capable of processing an object layer having a minute configuration and a laminated object layer without producing any etch residue and of increasing the ratio of the etching selectivity of the object layer to those of a mask and the underlying layer when etching a laminated film. The intensity of a magnetic field created by solenoids surrounding a plasma processing chamber is varied to vary the distance between the object surface of a workpiece and a flat resonance region for etching an object layer and for overetching the object layer to vary the position of a plasma produced by the interaction of an electric field created by a microwave and the magnetic field created by the solenoids.

摘要: Disclosed is a novel anti-reflective film used for reducing the adverse influences of stray light within an optical instrument such as photographic cameras by attaching onto the inner walls of the instrument. The anti-reflective film consists of a substrate film of a synthetic resin and an anti-reflective coating layer formed on one surface of the substrate film by coating with a coating composition comprising (a) a synthetic resin as a binder to form the matrix phase of the coating layer, (b) particles of a synthetic resin having an average particle diameter in the range from 15 to 50 .mu.m dispersed in the matrix phase, and (c) particles of carbon having an average particle diameter not exceeding 2 .mu.m dispersed in the matrix phase.
