摘要: A two-dimensional fabric (20) used to produce a three-dimensional composite part has a binding system (21) with binding warp threads (23) and/or binding weft threads (24) and a reinforcing system (22) with reinforcing weft threads (25) and/or reinforcing warp threads (26). At least some of the inserted reinforcing threads (25) are shortened reinforcing weft threads (25a) and/or shortened reinforcing warp threads (26a). Their thread length (L) is less than that of the binding weft threads (24) or the binding warp threads (23). The shortened reinforcing thread's (25a), (26a) free ends are located in a respective thread end position (30) or (31). The respective thread length (L) and the respective thread end positions (30), (31) of a shortened reinforcing thread (25a), (26a) in the two-dimensional fabric (20) are predetermined based on the three-dimensional shape of the composite part to be produced to reduce cutting waste when producing preforms and cutting effort.

A groove wall of the groove is formed by alternately laminating the biaxial fabric layer, which continues to the case main body side, and a triaxial fabric layer, which includes a triaxial fabric of a non-crimp structure composed of reinforcing fiber bands having an orientation angle of ±45° and a reinforcing fiber band having an orientation angle of 0°.

摘要: By use of a process for the production of a fibre-composite material, comprising the following steps: a) one or more fibre bundle(s) is/are drawn by way of one or more spreader device(s) into an impregnation chamber in such a way as to give at least two mutually superposed, spatially separate and spread fibre webs; b) melt is introduced by way of horizontally oriented distributor bars, in each case arranged between two fibre webs; c) the individual fibre webs are caused to converge in such a way that they are mutually superposed and contact one another; d) after the fibre webs have converged they are drawn, at the end of the operating unit, through a take-off die where the first shaping takes place, and also by use of a corresponding device, very good impregnation quality is achieved through a specific wetting method implemented after a high degree of expanding, and also through subsequent relative longitudinal and transverse movements of the individual fibres.

摘要: Yarns for use in manufacture of composite structures are intermittently coated with adhesive, and may be twisted as well. These yarns are then woven into fabric, and heat and pressure applied to the intermittently-coated yarns to provide dimensional stability and to prevent unravelling of the fabric during cutting and handling. The fabric is then disposed in a mold or over a mandrel, and a curable resin applied and caused to cure. Provision of the adhesive in intermittent fashion limits propagation of cracks that may form at the location of the adhesive, which does not bond well to the curable resin.

Disclosed is a method and system for direct three-dimensional printing and assembly of an article of apparel, including designing a three-dimensional pattern for printing, positioning at least a portion of the article on a tray in a three-dimensional printing system, the portion being positioned substantially flat on the tray, printing a three-dimensional material directly onto the article using the designed pattern, curing the printed material, and removing the article from the three-dimensional printing system.

The invention also provides a fan module, a turbine engine, and a method of fabricating such a platform.

Each of the plurality of carpet components comprises a tufted carpet backing having a plurality of carpet tufts extending from a back surface of the carpet backing and above a top surface of the carpet backing; and an edge strip comprising an amorphous plastic material, wherein the edge strip extends around a lateral edge of the carpet backing between a base portion embedded within a back surface of the carpet backing and an edge surface defining a perimeter edge of the carpet component. The edge surface of a first carpet component abuts an edge surface of an adjacent second carpet component to form an at least substantially continuous floor covering for an aircraft interior.

The laminate includes: a porous substrate (C) comprising a thermoplastic resin (c), reinforcing fibers (A) and a thermosetting resin (B), or a porous substrate (C) comprising a thermoplastic resin (c), reinforcing fibers (A) and a thermoplastic resin (D); wherein the porous substrate (C) has a gap part continuous in the thickness direction of the laminate, and the melting point or softening point is higher than 180° C., and at least 10% of the surface area of one surface of the porous substrate (C) is exposed on one side of the laminate.
