Abstract: Examples described herein relate to a system including a first management system having a primary memory including a free memory, a used memory, and a loosely reserved memory, where the loosely reserved memory comprises cache memory having a reclaimable memory; and a processing resource coupled to the primary memory. The processing resource may monitor an amount of the used memory and an amount of an available memory during runtime of the first management system. Further, the processing resource may enable a synchronized reboot of the first management system if the amount of the used memory is greater than a memory exhaustion first threshold or the amount of the available memory is less than a memory exhaustion second threshold, wherein the memory exhaustion first threshold and the memory exhaustion second threshold are determined based on usage of the reclaimable memory and a number of major page faults.

Abstract: A process includes communicating by a first device, with a second device. The communicating includes the first device receiving data from the second device that represents a certificate. The certificate binds a hierarchy of logical identifiers to a cryptographic key. The hierarchy of identifiers includes a first logical identifier that corresponds to a group membership. The process includes authenticating, by the first device, the second device based on the certificate. The process includes allowing, by the first device, a secure connection to be set up between the first device and the second device based on whether the first logical identifier represents that the second device is a member of a first group of devices of which the first device is a member.

Abstract: Examples described herein relate to deletion of data entities in a deduplication system. Examples may maintain entries in a housekeeping queue, each entry including a priority value and a total unshared chunk size of a data entity to be deleted from the deduplication system. Examples may delete the data entities corresponding to the entries including a low priority value from the deduplication system. Examples may determine whether an available storage capacity of the deduplication system is sufficient after deleting the data entities corresponding to the entries including the low priority value. Examples may delete a data entity corresponding to an entry including a high priority value and a largest total unshared chunk size if the available storage capacity is insufficient.

Abstract: The disclosure generally provides for a method of solving a K-SAT problem. The method comprises programming one or more clauses of a Boolean expression for a K-SAT problem written in negated disjunctive normal form (DNF) to a ternary-CAM (TCAM) array comprising columns and rows of TCAM cells. The method further includes applying an interpretation comprising one or more binary variables expected to solve the Boolean expression as an input along the columns to the TCAM array, returning a binary value for each clause, randomly selecting one matched match line, determining a selected clause from one or more violated clause, and altering one or more literals within the interpretation using a break count for each variable of the selected clause.

Abstract: Data-driven intelligent networking systems and methods are provided. The system can accommodate dynamic traffic with fast, effective congestion control. The system can maintain state information of individual packet flows, which can be set up or released dynamically based on injected data. Each flow can be provided with a flow-specific input queue upon arriving at a switch. Packets of a respective flow can be acknowledged after reaching the egress point of the network, and the acknowledgement packets can be sent back to the ingress point of the flow along the same data path. As a result, each switch can obtain state information of each flow and perform flow control on a per-flow basis.
