摘要: An exhaust gas purifying catalyst for oxidizing HC and CO and for reducing NOx is provided, which comprises at least one oxide of rare earth element, rhodium, and at least one of platinum and palladium loaded on alumina grains. The major amount of rhodium is dispersed on the oxide of rare earth element. Thus, the rhodium solidification into the alumina grains is prevented. Further, when cerium oxide accompanying lanthanum oxide, neodymium oxide or a mixture thereof is used as the oxide of rare earth element, the sintering of cerium oxide or palladium at a high temperature is suppressed since it forms a complex oxide with lanthanum oxide, neodymium oxide or a mixture thereof. Additionally, when stabilized alumina grains in which a rare earth element and an alkali earth element are present in a solid solution state are used, the deterioration of NOx purifying activity of the catalyst at a high temperature is suppressed. The exhaust gas purifying catalyst of this invention has high durability as well as high activity at a high temperature.

摘要: The invention relates to an acceleration slip control device, wherein the control quantity for the throttle valve angle operation is determined not only in response to the slip condition but also to the output torque changeability of the internal combustion engine with regard to the throttle valve angle displacement, therefore the output torque of the engine can be effectively restrained to the optimum value counteractive to the slip condition of the driving wheels.

摘要: A monolithic catalyst support for use in the purification of exhaust gases comprises: a metal substrate; an oxide membrane formed on the surface of the substrate by applying heat treatment to the substrate; and an active alumina layer formed on the oxide membrane, wherein the composition of the metal substrate is composed of from 5 to 30% by weight of chromium (Cr), from 1 to 10% by weight of aluminum (Al), from 0.1 to 0.5 by weight of one or more of potassium (K), rubidium (Rb), cesium (Cs), francium (Fr), calcium (Ca), strontium (Sr), barium (Ba), radium (Ra) and lanthanoid elements and the balance of iron (Fe). The endurance of the monolithic catalyst can be improved because incorporation of the lanthanoid elements can improve the purifying performance.

摘要: The wavelength detector includes a diffusion element that diffuses the laser beam; a light collection optical system provided downstream from the diffusion element; a member, including an aperture, provided downstream from the light collection optical system; a discharge tube that is provided downstream from the member and that includes a cylindrical anode and a cylindrical cathode that each have a through-hole formed therein, and that is configured so that an electrical property between the anode and the cathode changes due to an opto-galvanic effect when a laser beam having a predetermined wavelength passes through the through-hole of the cathode in a state in which a DC voltage is applied to the anode; and a high-voltage DC power source. The discharge tube is disposed so that the laser beam that passes through the aperture passes through the through-hole of the cathode of the discharge tube without directly irradiating the cathode.

摘要: There is provided a waterproof connector. The waterproof connector comprises a connector member supporting a ferrule to be butted against a target ferrule disposed in a target connector, the connector member being adapted to be locked to an adapter member of the target connector by an action of a lock operation portion provided in the connector member; unlocking means being adapted to operate the lock operation portion to release the locked state; and a housing body allowing the unlocking means to be slidably moved. The waterproof connector is adapted to be released from the connection with the target connector in such a manner that the unlocking means is allowed to be moved away from the connector member, whereby the unlocking means is operable to operate the lock operation portion to release the locked state, and to move the connector member away from the adapter member to release the fitting.

摘要: Mobile nodes are allowed to move around within an intermittent communication environment. A mobile node wirelessly communicates with an access node when approaching the access node, and stores data. The access node stores an action history for each mobile node, and generates a forwarder list in association with a destination node, based on action histories of the mobile nodes. The forwarder list stores one or more identifies each identifying a first mobile node in the order of an arrival probability indicating a probability that the first mobile node succeeds in delivering the data to the destination node. The access node selects second mobile nodes that are to carry the data to the destination node, based on the forwarder list, and transfers the data to one of the second mobile nodes when a communication link is established between the access node and the one of the second mobile nodes.
