    摘要： In an absorbent article including a liquid permeable outer material, a liquid impermeable antileakage material, a liquid retentive absorbent element interposed therebetween, and a fixing device mounted on a back side of a generally vertically elongated absorbent article body and adapted to fix the body to a crotch portion of shorts, the fixing device has a pair of fixing elements, each of the fixing elements extending outwardly in a width direction from each lateral edge of the absorbent article body, the fixing element being provided on at least a back side thereof with an adhesive portion, the pair of fixing elements being able to be adhered to and separated from a back side of the absorbent article body through the adhesive portions.
