Abstract:
Hybrid bonding systems and methods for semiconductor wafers are disclosed. In one embodiment, a hybrid bonding system for semiconductor wafers includes a chamber and a plurality of sub-chambers disposed within the chamber. A robotics handler is disposed within the chamber that is adapted to move a plurality of semiconductor wafers within the chamber between the plurality of sub-chambers. The plurality of sub-chambers includes a first sub-chamber adapted to remove a protection layer from the plurality of semiconductor wafers, and a second sub-chamber adapted to activate top surfaces of the plurality of semiconductor wafers prior to hybrid bonding the plurality of semiconductor wafers together. The plurality of sub-chambers also includes a third sub-chamber adapted to align the plurality of semiconductor wafers and hybrid bond the plurality of semiconductor wafers together.
Abstract:
Method and arrangement in a base station for adjusting a channel quality indicator value of a wireless transmission between the base station and a user equipment. The base station, the user equipment and a relay node are comprised in a multi-hop wireless communication system and adapted to intercommunicate in a first transmission mode and a second transmission mode. The method comprises sending a radio signal to be received by the user equipment, obtaining a measurement of the channel quality indicator value, determining if the transmission mode of the sent radio signal is different from the transmission mode of the obtained channel quality indicator value measurement, and adding a channel quality indicator offset value to the channel quality indicator value, if the transmission mode of the relay node is determined to be the first transmission mode while the channel quality indicator was measured and obtained in the second transmission mode.

A method of allocating radio resources to communication links of a wireless communication system based on status parameters of each of the links, the communication system having a plurality of network nodes, a plurality of relays associated with the network nodes, and a terminal accessing the communication system. A first radio resource allocation may be determined by balancing the performance of a relay-to-network-node communication link of each relay against the performance of a corresponding terminal-to-relay communication link. A second allocation may be determined by balancing the performance of the relay-to-network-node communication link of each relay against the performance of a terminal-to-network-node communication link. A final allocation may be determined by calculating a weighted average value of the first and second allocations.
Abstract:
Three dimensional integrated circuit (3DIC) structures and hybrid bonding methods for semiconductor wafers are disclosed. A 3DIC structure includes a first semiconductor device having first conductive pads disposed within a first insulating material on a top surface thereof, the first conductive pads having a first recess on a top surface thereof. The 3DIC structure includes a second semiconductor device having second conductive pads disposed within a second insulating material on a top surface thereof coupled to the first semiconductor device, the second conductive pads having a second recess on a top surface thereof. A sealing layer is disposed between the first conductive pads and the second conductive pads in the first recess and the second recess. The sealing layer bonds the first conductive pads to the second conductive pads. The first insulating material is bonded to the second insulating material.
Abstract:
The present invention is directed to a method for adjusting a guard period in a base station for a cellular wireless communication system. The base station is adapted to communicate in a frame structure comprising a downlink frame followed by the guard period followed by an uplink frame. The method comprises the following steps: measuring interference in dependence on time from at least one interfering base station; and adjusting an uplink frame start time within the frame structure in dependence on the measured interference. The invention also relates to a base station, a network management entity, a computer program product and a method for operating the network entity.

A transceiver includes a transceiver and a clock generation unit. The clock generation unit includes a clock generator, a multiplexer, and a frequency difference detector. The transceiver exchanges data with a link partner according to a first clock generated by a phase-locked loop. The clock generator is used for generating and outputting a second clock. The multiplexer is used for receiving a calibration clock or a receiver clock of the link partner, and outputting the calibration clock or the receiver clock of the link partner. The frequency difference detector is used for generating a difference signal according to a difference between the calibration clock and the second clock, or a difference between the receiver clock of the link partner and the second clock. The clock generator adjusts the shift of the second clock according to the difference signal. The phase-locked loop generates the first clock according to the second clock.
Abstract:
A method for wafer to wafer bonding in semiconductor packaging provides for roughening the bonding surfaces in one embodiment. Also provided is a method for passivating the bonding surfaces with a lower melting point material that becomes forced away from the bonding interface during bonding. Also provided is a method for forming an eutectic at the bonding interface to reduce the impact of any native oxide formation at the bonding interface.

When a NAS apparatus is directly connected to a network and an external apparatus simultaneously, the external apparatus is able to access the NAS apparatus, and the NAS apparatus concurrently communicates with the network for executing a specific function. A method of configuring the NAS apparatus includes: allocating a first storage unit in the NAS apparatus; and setting an attribute of the first storage unit such that the first storage unit is allowed to be read by the NAS apparatus or the external apparatus, and written by the NAS apparatus or the external apparatus.

A method for Wear-Leveling includes: utilizing a comparison circuit to compare an average erase count with an erase count of a first data block; and utilizing a first free block as a replacement for storing data content of the first data block so as to make the first data block become a free block when the erase count of the first data block is smaller than the average erase count.
Abstract:
A pen with rotating ornaments is disclosed. The pen includes a pen tube with a power supply therein, a motor whose one end is arranged with a wire connected with the power supply while at least an end is disposed with a shaft that connects with an ornament. The ornament is arranged with figures, words or advertisement. By the voltage from the power supply, the motor rotates so that the shaft rotates and drives the ornament to rotate. Thus by the rotated ornament through transparent pen tube, the interest senses, decorative effects and advertising effect of the pens are improved.
