    摘要: A laser unit which has an improved reliability in a measured value of a power correction coefficient used to correct a laser output command. Immediately before the laser oscillator starts discharging after a power supply is turned on, the initial value of a number (or index) for carrying out a warm-up operation is set to zero. A temperature measuring device measures a temperature of a prescribed part of the laser oscillator, and it is decided whether the measured temperature has reached a predetermined temperature. When the measured temperature has reached the predetermined temperature, a normal laser oscillator start processing is executed, and a power correction coefficient is calculated/updated, thereby ending the process. When the measured temperature has not reached the predetermined temperature, the number of times of carrying out a warm-up operation is checked, and the oscillator executes the warm-up operation until the predetermined temperature is obtained within a given number of times. When the number of times of carrying out the warm-up operation exceeds the given number of times, an alarm is displayed to stop the operation of the laser oscillator. Also, an internal discharge carried out to obtain a power correction coefficient may be utilized for the warm-up operation.

    摘要: A display device having a memory property capable of maintaining a displayed information even in a state of being separated away from a power source as a result of decreasing the effect of external noise. The display device is detachably attached to a control unit that includes a drive circuit and a power source for driving the display device. The display device has a memory property and maintains the displayed image even in a state of being detached from the control unit. An input protection portion which is an electric load such as resistor, IC or capacitor is provided for the input portion leading to matrix electrodes from the connection terminals for electrically connecting the display device to the control unit. This prevents the infiltration of noise through the connection terminals and lowers a change in the displayed image.

    摘要: An electrically driven hermetic compressor comprises a hermetic casing, an electric motor unit encased in the casing, and a compression mechanism encased by the casing and drivingly connected to the electric motor unit through a crankshaft. The compression mechanism includes a cylinder, a piston reciprocatingly slidable in the cylinder, a valve plate having formed therein a suction port and a discharge port and providing valve seats around the ports, suction valve and a discharge valve cooperating with the suction and discharge ports. The cylinder, the piston and the valve plate cooperate to define a compression chamber. The compressor further has a passage system providing separate passages for a gas to be compressed and the gas after compression, and a motion converting mechanism for converting rotary motion of the crankshaft into linear reciprocating motion of the piston. A frusto-conical projection is formed on the top of the piston at a point offset from the axis of the piston so as to be receivable in the discharge port which also is offset from the axis of the piston, thus minimizing dead volume when the piston has reached its top dead center of its stroke.

    摘要: An information broadcasting method for a communication system including a plurality of stations. The communication system enables any two of the stations to communicate with one another. The communication system includes a conference trunk having at least four channels. One of the channels is an information broadcasting channel for use only in an information broadcasting operation wherein any one of the stations broadcasts information to all of the stations simultaneously via the information broadcasting channel. All other ones of the channels are conference communication channels for use in conference communication wherein any three or more of the stations communicate with one another simultaneously via any three or more of the conference communication channels. During an information broadcasting operation, any one of the stations which is receiving broadcast information from another one of the stations can transmit information to all of the stations in the system, including the station which is broadcasting information, via a vacant conference communication channel in the conference trunk, thereby engaging in bidirectional communication with the station which is broadcasting information during the information broadcasting operation.
