摘要: A vehicular vision system includes a camera disposed at a vehicle and viewing exterior of the vehicle. The system, responsive to processing by an image processor of image data captured by the camera, determines presence of a leading vehicle ahead of the equipped vehicle and travelling in the same lane as the equipped vehicle. The system, via processing by the image processor of image data captured by the camera, determines an indication at the leading vehicle indicative of a safeness of a passing maneuver by the equipped vehicle. The indication is representative of a determination by the leading vehicle that the safeness of the passing maneuver exceeds a threshold safeness level. The system, based on the determined indication, at least in part controls operation of the equipped vehicle to overtake and pass the determined leading vehicle.

摘要: An apparatus includes at least one camera configured to capture an image of a traffic lane in front of a vehicle. The apparatus also includes a radar transceiver configured to detect one or more target vehicles proximate to the vehicle. The apparatus further includes a path prediction and vehicle detection controller configured to determine first parameters for predicting a path of the vehicle; determine second parameters for predicting the path of the vehicle; predict the path of the vehicle using a combination of the first parameters and the second parameters, where the combination is weighted based on a speed of the vehicle; identify one of the one or more target vehicles as a closest in path vehicle based on the predicted path of the vehicle; and activate at least one of a braking control and a steering control based on a proximity of the identified closest in path vehicle.

摘要: A vehicular control system is presented where the contact patches of the vehicle have reduced impact on an environment. Vehicular control systems include force sensors and terrain sensors that provide real-time or near real-time information about the operating environment of a vehicle. The force sensor data may be used to derive one or more forces which can be used to infer the nature of the vehicles contact patches. As the vehicular control system detects changes in a terrain attribute from the terrain sensors, the vehicular control system determines what the contact patches should be to address the terrain change and determines the necessary forces to give rise to the target contact patches. The vehicular control systems may then adjust the operational parameter values of the vehicle to generate the target contact patches to thereby reduce the impact on the environment.

In one implementation, a system for a host vehicle includes at least one processor programmed to determine, based on an output of at least one sensor of the host vehicle, one or more target dynamics of a target vehicle; determine, based on one or more host dynamics of the host vehicle and the target dynamics, a time to collision; determine, based on the time to collision and the host dynamics, a host deceleration for the host vehicle to avoid the collision; determine, based on the time to collision and the target dynamics, a target deceleration for the target vehicle to avoid the collision; determine, based on the host deceleration and the target deceleration, a host deceleration threshold; and determine, based on a speed of the host vehicle and the host deceleration threshold, to brake the host vehicle.

摘要: A system comprises a microphone array and a processor. The microphone array detects first sound signal and the second sound signal. Each of the first and second sound signals has a particular frequency band. Each of the first and second sound signals is originated from a particular sound source. The processor receives the first and second sound signals. The processor amplifies the first sound signals, each with a different amplification order. The processor disregards the second sound signal, where the second sound signal includes interference noise signals. The processor determines that the first sound signals indicate that a vehicle is within a threshold distance from an autonomous vehicle and traveling in a direction toward the autonomous vehicle. In response, the processor instructs the autonomous vehicle to perform a minimal risk condition operation. The minimal risk condition operation includes pulling over or stopping the autonomous vehicle.

The equipment information identifies a first location of a first end of the ride equipment on a travel path and identifies a second location of a second end of the ride equipment. The simulation platform may determine, based on the equipment information, that the first location is at a first distance from a starting location on the travel path and indicates that the second location is at a second distance from the starting location. The simulation platform may execute a computer model to perform a simulation of a movement of a passenger vehicle along the travel path. The simulation platform may determine, during the simulation, that the passenger vehicle is located at a particular distance from the starting location. The simulation platform may determine whether the particular distance corresponds to a location between the first location and the second location.
