Abstract: A method of providing operating parameters of an automation device via a configuration system comprising:
detection of a pre-selection of the automation device via a user interface of the configuration system;
detection of a target value of a first operating parameter of the automation device via the user interface;

Abstract: The invention relates to systems and methods to enable a mobile device to be used as a remote control, in order to control one or more remotely controllable objects. In possible embodiments of the invention, proximity-based (or other) remote controls include control authorization to enable the transfer or sharing of control between different remote controls being implemented on different mobile devices, in order to permit different users to transfer or share control of a same remotely controllable object, for example. In other possible embodiments of the invention, a proximity-based (or other) remote control uses control authentication to enable the pairing of a remote control implemented on a device and a remotely controllable object, for example. Various embodiments of control authority and control authentication are possible and anticipated by the invention to address a wide range of practical remote control applications and provide many benefits to users.

Abstract: Embodiments include methods for managing component temperatures in wearable devices by a remote computing device, such as an edge server, instructing changes in wearable device component processing loads, operations or operating modes. Methods performed in a wearable device receiving data from an edge server may include obtaining a plurality of temperature measurements from a plurality of hardware components, transmitting the temperature measurements to the edge server, receiving an instruction related to operations of an application executing on the processor of the wearable device, and adjusting an operating parameter based on the received instruction. Methods performed in the edge server include receiving the temperature measurements from the wearable device, identify one or more adjustments to operations of the plurality of hardware components based on the plurality of temperature measurements, and sending the wearable device an instruction to adjust operations of at least one of the plurality of hardware components.

Abstract: Methods and systems are disclosed configured to control the planting, application of pesticides, and harvesting of greenhouse crops, such as herbs. The greenhouse may include a variety of sensors, such as moisture sensors, ph sensors, and/or CO2 sensors. Unmanned vehicles may be utilized to capture crop images, and a learning engine may be used to determine the size of greenhouse crops. Such sensor data may be used to predict crop availability. A prediction engine may be utilized to predict demand for greenhouse crops using current and historical orders for greenhouse crops. Greenhouse crop production instructions may be generated and transmitted to a greenhouse computer system to cause crops to be sown or harvested. Pallet loading instructions may be generated regarding the loading of specified quantities of crop packs on respective pallets for shipment to a destination.

Abstract: Various techniques for facilitating communication with and across a clinical environment and a cloud environment are described. For example, a method for converting infusion pump messages having one format into standardized dataset messages having another format is described. When a connectivity adapter in the clinical environment detects a new pump protocol, the connectivity adapter may generate a message converter that can convert pump messages into standardized dataset messages. The message converter can be used to convert pump messages into standardized dataset messages. The standardized dataset messages may include information additional data or metadata not included in the pump messages.

Abstract: Various systems and methods for implementing a software defined industrial system are described herein. For example, an orchestrated system of distributed nodes may run an application, including modules implemented on the distributed nodes. In response to a node failing, a module may be redeployed to a replacement node. In an example, self-descriptive control applications and software modules are provided in the context of orchestratable distributed systems. The self-descriptive control applications may be executed by an orchestrator or like control device and use a module manifest to generate a control system application. For example, an edge control node of the industrial system may include a system on a chip including a microcontroller (MCU) to convert IO data. The system on a chip includes a central processing unit (CPU) in an initial inactive state, which may be changed to an activated state in response an activation signal.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to systems and methods for filtering electronic activities. Exemplary implementations may include ingesting a first electronic activity; identifying an associated entity; and selecting a first filtering model based on the entity, the first filtering model trained to indicate whether to restrict further processing of ingested electronic activities. The method may further include generating a plurality of structured data tags for the first electronic activity; applying the selected first filtering model to the plurality of structured data tags for the first electronic activity to determine whether the first electronic activity satisfies a first restriction condition; and responsive to the first electronic activity satisfying the first restriction condition, restricting the first electronic activity from further processing; or responsive to the first electronic activity not satisfying the first restriction condition, further processing, by the one or more processors, the first electronic activity.
