Abstract:
Provided are a display apparatus and an apparatus and method of manufacturing the display apparatus. The apparatus for manufacturing a display apparatus includes: a dry cleansing unit configured to remove impurities from a surface of a mother substrate; an electrolyte treatment unit connected to the dry cleansing unit and configured to treat the surface of the mother substrate with electrolytes; and an exfoliated layer forming unit connected to the electrolyte treatment unit and configured to form an exfoliated layer on the mother substrate.
Abstract:
A vision system for a vehicle includes a camera having an imager and a lens. The camera is disposed at an exterior portion of a vehicle and has a field of view exterior of the vehicle. An air flow element has an inlet port and an outlet port, with the outlet port configured to direct air flow in front of the lens to direct debris away from the lens. The outlet port is configured to direct air flow at a velocity that is greater than a velocity of air flow that is flowing into the inlet port. The inlet port may have an inlet area that is substantially greater than an outlet area of the outlet port. The system may include an air flow generating device for generating or enhancing air flow through the air flow device.
Abstract:
A sample droplet generator transforms a segmented array of sample material into a continuous stream of droplets containing analytes. The droplets may serve as a sample source for a wide range of detectors and analytical instruments. As one example, the droplets may be introduced into an ion source of a spectrometer that measures ions produced from the droplets or photons emitted from the droplets.
Abstract:
A method of forming particles that includes performing a strong force attenuation of a mixture to form pre-particles. The mixture including a base compound and a dielectric additive having an elevated dielectric constant dispersed therein. The pre-particles are then dielectrically spun in an electrostatic field to further attenuate the pre-particles and form the particles.
Abstract:
According to an embodiment, a method of applying loose-fill insulation within a cavity is provided. The method includes blowing loose-fill insulation particles into a cavity of a structure to install the loose-fill insulation within the cavity and thereby insulate the structure. The method also includes applying water (e.g., water mist) to the loose-fill insulation particles so that a moisture content of the installed loose-fill insulation is between about 2% and 20%. The water aids in retaining the loose-fill insulation particles within the cavity without requiring the use of an enclosure member that encloses the cavity and the loose-fill insulation is substantially free of a water soluble adhesive material that adheres the loose-fill insulation particles together within the cavity.
Abstract:
A substrate processing method includes supplying onto a substrate a processing liquid which contains a volatile component and forms a film, vaporizing the volatile component in the processing liquid such that the processing liquid solidifies or cures on the substrate and forms a film on the substrate, and supplying onto the film formed on the substrate a removing liquid which removes the processing liquid. The processing liquid is supplied onto the substrate after dry etching or ashing is applied to the substrate.

Abstract:
A disk spray device includes a shell having a top air inlet and an annular air outlet, a fan for sucking air from above the device and distributing the air through the annular air outlet to generate an air cushion around the shell, and a spray tube mounted around an outer periphery of the shell and having a plurality of nozzles adjacent to the air outlet of the shell. The spray tube is adapted to be connected with a water supply device such that water running in the spray tube can be sprayed into water mist through the nozzles of the spray tube. The water mist can be further radially delivered far away by the flow of air exhausted out of the annular air outlet of the shell by the fan.
Abstract:
A diffuser for a multiway valve, in particular for a two-way valve, includes a tip (2) to be secured to the portion of the valve stem that projects above the cup. To withdraw a single product, the tip includes a cylindrical portion having a circular cross-section with as many transfer channels (22a, 22b) are there are pathways in the multiway valve, for sealingly connecting each transfer channel to the outlet of the corresponding pathway of the valve, each transfer channel opening outside the cylindrical portion of the tip in a different radial plane and in a different angular sector of the cylindrical portion. The diffuser is also provided with a pivotable cap (3) with a blind hole (31) having a shape complementary to the cylindrical portion of the tip, the pivotable cap having as many outlet channels (32a, 32b) as there are pathways in the multiway valve.
Abstract:
Such apparatuses are used for discharging active substances along with various carrier media, water often being used as a carrier medium. In order to ensure that the water perfectly nebulizes together with the active substance, the mist pipe (10) comprises at least three additional pipes (3 to 6) which partly surround each other to form annular chambers (31 to 33). Such a mist pipe (10) allows the size distribution of the drops to be kept within narrow limits even when water is used as a carrier medium. The nebulizer and the mist pipe (10) are mainly used in the health sector, in agriculture, plantations and greenhouses, for protecting supplies and for disinfection purposes on humans, in animal husbandry, and in food production.
