    摘要: A process for recovering and reusing a solvent and optical isomers characterized by using a simulated moving packed bed which comprises an inlet for an eluent, an outlet for an extract containing an optical isomer strongly adsorbable on the packing, an inlet for a liquid containing an optical isomer mixture and an outlet for a raffinate containing an optical isomer weakly adsorbable on the packing in this order in a packed bed column containing packings for optical resolution and arranged in a solvent circulation passage, and in which the inlets and the outlets are intermittently and successively moved in the direction of liquid flow in the packed bed; recovering the solvent and the optical isomer(s) from the resultant extract and/or raffinate; returning the recovered solvent into the solvent circulation passage; or when the solvent is not recovered, heating the extract or raffinate to racemize an undesired optical isomer and reusing the resultant solution containing a racemic modification for the separation of the optical isomers with the simulated moving bed system.

    摘要: A process for producing optically active 4-hydroxy-2-cyclopentenone [1] which comprises reacting 4-hydroxy-2-cyclopentenone represented by the formula: ##STR1## with an optically active propargyl alcohol derivative represented by the general formula: ##STR2## wherein R and R.sup.1 each independently represent a halogenated phenyl group, an alkylphenyl group, or an alkyl group which may be substituted with one or more halogen atom(s), and * indicates an asymmetric carbon atom, to form an optically active complex [3] consisting essentially of optically active 4-hydroxy-2-cyclopentenone represented by the formula [1] ##STR3## wherein * indicates an asymmetric carbon atom, and the optically active propargyl alcohol derivative [2], and then decomposing the optically active complex [3].

    摘要: 2.2. 1,3-imidazolidine-4-ones having the General Formula: ##STR1## are obtained in a pure form especially by means of precipitation, in which production an optically active acid can be used at 0.5-0.8 eq. for the separation of racemates. The non-desired enantiomer can be racemized in an inert solvent and the cyclization to imidazolidinone can take place by means of the optically active acid, whereupon the separation of racemates takes place directly thereafter. 1,3-imidazolidine-4-ones are valuable educts for the preparation of branched or unbranched, proteinogenic or non-proteinogenic .alpha.-amino acids by means of diastereoselective alkylation and subsequent ring splitting.

    摘要: A process is provided whereby S(+)-ibuprofen or R(-)-ibuprofen L-lysinate salt is produced by selective precipitation from a mixture containing enantiomers of ibuprofen and L-lysine. The quantity of L-lysine is not more than about a molar equivalent of the quantity of one of the enantiomers in the ibuprofen enantiomeric mixture. Upon precipitation of one ibuprofen enantiomer from the mixture, the overall precipitate and reaction mixture can be held for a sufficient period of time at a second temperature to allow the first precipitate to redissolve into the reaction mixture and the other ibuprofen enantiomer to precipitate out of the mixture in the salt form. Optically active ibuprofen is racemized by being heated at 100.degree. C. to 300.degree. C. in the substantial absence of other materials.
