摘要: In an image heating apparatus, a film has one face in sliding contact with a heater having a heat generating portion on a substrate. The other face of the film contacts a recording material bearing an image. The film moves with the recording material and the image on the recording material is heated by heat generated by the heater which is transmitted through the film. A temperature detecting element detects the temperature of the heater. The heat generating portion of the heater has a first heat generating portion and a second heat generating portion on the downstream side of the first heat generating portion with respect to the moving direction of the film. The middle of the temperature detecting element is positioned at the upstream side of the middle between the first and second heat generating portions with respect to the moving direction of the film.

摘要: An image forming apparatus includes an image forming device for forming an image onto a recording material and a fixing device for fixing the image on the recording material. The fixing device has a rotating member for conveying the recording material, and a controller for controlling the factors related to the peripheral speeds of the rotating member in accordance with the information of the peripheral speeds thereof and the size of the recording material. With the structure thus arranged, it is possible to prevent image problems from taking place due to the difference in the sheet conveying speeds between the image transfer and fixation operations.

摘要: This invention provides a storage module formed using a plurality of storage cells. The each storage cell includes a storage unit that stores a charge, a polyhedral container that houses the storage unit and has two opposing surfaces, and a pair of electrode terminals that output and input the charge of the storage unit. The electrode terminals include a positive electrode terminal that projects externally from an end portion of the container and has a joint surface that is formed to be substantially coplanar with one of the two opposing surfaces of the container and joined to an electrode terminal of an adjacent storage cell, and a negative electrode terminal that projects externally from the end portion of the container and has a joint surface that is formed to be substantially coplanar with another of the two surfaces and joined to an electrode terminal of an adjacent storage cell.

摘要: When three or four panel attachment springs 3 are welded to side portions of an aperture grill 1 (or 21), the aperture grill is disposed so that a grill 107 should be opposed to a predetermined reference plane. The springs are disposed by three or four spring positioning means. A posture of the aperture grill 1 (or 21) is adjusted based on measured results of the respective measurement position Z.sub.0 to Z.sub.4 of the grill 107. Positions of spring pins for supporting springs on the spring positioning means are agreed with positions of panel pins provided on a panel. Thereafter, the respective springs are simultaneously welded to the side portions of the aperture grill. Thus, it is possible to precisely weld the springs to side-portion positions of the aperture grill. When the four springs are welded, it is possible to simultaneously weld the four springs by one equipment.
