Abstract: A locator-equipped clamp jig capable of suppressing interference between base sections of segments when clamped by the clamp jig, a stator manufacturing device, and a method for manufacturing a stator. The locator-equipped clamp jig has a locator that is provided to part of a main clamp body on a stator core side and has a plurality of protrusions arranged on an upper surface of an electrical conductor that is adjacent, in the radial direction of the stator core, to an electrical conductor being clamped by the main clamp body, the width of the protrusions in the radial direction of the stator core being at least the width of one of the electrical conductors.

Abstract: A method for joining segments (electrical conductors) includes first and second joining steps. The first joining step includes welding a group of the segments including ends, such that the first group is welded to pairs of electrical conductors. The second joining step includes welding a second group of the segments including ends, which are composed of the segments whose ends are arranged in a column in the radial direction, such that the second group is welded to pairs of electrical conductors. The first group includes a segment as a first electrical conductor including the end which is located at the middle portion of a group of the segments including the ends in the radial direction. The second group includes a segment as a second electrical conductor including the end which crosses the first electrical conductor on the opposite sides with respect to the middle portion in the radial direction.

Abstract: A TIG welding device (10) includes a welding robot (11), robot control device (12), welding torch (13), welding control device (14), gas feeder (15), and a height detection device (16). The welding torch (13) is set at a reference position, and the height detection device (16) detects the respective heights of two tip parts (4e). The robot control device (12) drives the welding robot (11) such that a torch electrode (13c) of the welding torch (13) abuts on central part of the higher tip part (4e). When the torch electrode (13c) is moved toward the reference position while power is supplied to the torch electrode (13c), and inert gas flows in the periphery of the torch electrode (13c), arc (AC) is generated in a gap between the tip parts (4e) and the torch electrode (13c). The overall two tip parts (4e) are melted and welded by this arc (AC).
