摘要: A technology for device to device (D2D) communication scheduling is disclosed. A D2D device can be synchronized with a base station of a cellular system. A sub-frame symbol boundary can be identified in the cellular system for the D2D communication. A resource for a D2D communication can be allocated from the D2D device to another D2D device within the sub-frame boundary of the cellular system. The D2D device can be switched to perform a D2D communication with another D2D device in proximity with the D2D device, wherein the other D2D device is substantially synchronized with the base station of the cellular system. The D2D device can communicate with the other D2D device within at least one symbol boundary time within the selected subframe.

摘要: A technology for a user equipment (UE) that is operable to communicate in a device to device (D2D) network. A D2D coordinator selection assignment can be determined. A D2D bandwidth allocation request can be received from at least one D2D UE. Bandwidth can be scheduled for the at least one D2D UE. A D2D bandwidth allocation message can be communicated to at least one D2D UE within the D2D network to enable the at least one D2D UE to determine when bandwidth is allocated for the at least one D2D UE to communicate with another D2D UE in the D2D network.

摘要: Embodiments of a high-efficiency WLAN (HEW) access point (AP), user device (STA), and methods for communication between HEW APs and STAs in a wireless network are generally described herein. In some embodiments, a HEW AP determines a duration of a low-power time allocation, within a beacon period, that is to be reserved for low-power transmissions by STAs within a service range of the AP. The HEW AP can broadcast time sharing information to STAs within the service range of the AP. The time sharing information can indicate a start time of the duration of the low-power time allocation with respect to a start time of the beacon period and a maximum transmission power for transmissions performed during the low-power time allocation. Other embodiments and methods are also described.

摘要: Examples are disclosed for a system to improve wireless spectral efficiency, including a processor, a memory coupled to the processor, a radio coupled to the processor component, one or more antennas coupled to the radio, wireless logic to be executed on the processor component to: process reception of a higher-power request to send (RTS) signal from an initiator by an initiator's receiver; process transmission of a higher-power clear to send (CTS) signal to the initiator, to set a lower-power transmit opportunity (TXOP); and process reception of an invitation to share the TXOP at lower power, the invitation comprising an indication that devices that receive the invitation should transmit at lower power during a time period indicated by the higher-power CTS signal; and a timer to track progress of the time period.

摘要: In embodiments, apparatuses, methods, and storage media may be described for allocating radio resources to a user equipment (UE) for device to device (D2D) transmission. Specifically, the UE may be configured to predict cellular interference to one or more cellular transmissions in a cell that may be caused by the transmission of a D2D signal. Based on that predicted interference, the UE may identify one or more radio resources in for the D2D transmission.
