摘要: A control apparatus for automatically stopping and restarting an engine of a vehicle is provided, which is equipped with an engine, a motor, a compressor and an air conditioner. The apparatus has a first section for making a judgment on stopping the engine and a second section for making a judgment on restarting the engine. The apparatus has features that the apparatus provides the air conditioner with a plurality of operational modes selected by a user, and when the vehicle is not in motion with selection of a first mode, the first section permits the engine to stop if a first power that the motor can supply is greater than a second power of the compressor required by the air conditioner, and the second section permits the engine to restart if the second power exceeds the first power.

摘要: An air conditioning device for a vehicle having a regenerative section improves efficiency of regeneration. The air conditioning device comprises a compressor (6) connected to an output shaft (1a) of an engine (1) via an electromagnetic clutch (5), a motor-generator (2) for electrically recovering kinetic energy of the vehicle (100) during deceleration, a battery (9) for storing energy regenerated by the motor-generator (2), and a motor-driven compressor (13). When the vehicle (100) is in a deceleration state, the compressor (6) is disconnected from the engine (1) by disengaging the electromagnetic clutch (5), and air conditioning is performed by the motor-driven compressor (13).

摘要: In order to improve the fuel consumption efficiency of a hybrid vehicle, a control apparatus 1 for a hybrid vehicle is provided, which comprises as a power source a motor M and an engine E capable of executing partial cylinder deactivation operation and the driving force of at least one of these is transmitted to wheels for running the vehicle. When the required output is larger than the output of the engine under partial cylinder deactivation operation, and is smaller than the total output of the engine and the motor, which is adjustable for assisting the engine, the control apparatus operates the engine under partial deactivation and adjusts the motor output so as to compensate the difference between the total output of the power source and the output of the partial cylinder deactivated engine.

摘要: A hybrid vehicle driving system 1 of the invention includes a cylinder deactivated operation necessity determination unit for determining the necessity of a cylinder deactivated operation of an engine 6 when a required driving force required on a vehicle is smaller than a driving force of the engine 6 that runs in the cylinder deactivated operation. When the cylinder deactivated operation is determined to be unnecessary by the cylinder deactivated operation necessity determination unit, the vehicle can be driven in an EV driving by disengaging a first clutch 41 and a second clutch 42, whereas when the cylinder deactivated operation is determined to be necessary by the cylinder deactivated operation necessity determination unit, the engine 6 runs in the cylinder deactivated operation and at least one of the first clutch 42 and the second clutch 42 is engaged.

摘要: An automatic stop and start control system for a multiple-cylinder internal combustion engine mounted on a vehicle is disclosed. The automatic stop and start control system performs a control for automatically stopping and restarting the engine according to operating conditions of the vehicle and the engine. Fuel is provided to at least one of the cylinders of the engine when an engine stop condition for stopping the engine is satisfied. Subsequently, the fuel supply to all of the cylinders of the engine is stopped. The fuel supply to at least one of the cylinders is immediately carried out at the time an engine restart condition for restarting the engine is satisfied.

摘要: An engine automatic start stop control apparatus for controlling an engine of a vehicle to be automatically stopped or started in response to driving conditions of a vehicle, which is equipped with a manual transmission, an automatic transmission or a continuously variable transmission (CVT). The apparatus makes a determination whether or not to allow stop (or idle stop) of the engine in consideration of a relationship between outside air temperature and engine water temperature. This prevents a catalyst from being deteriorated in performance as a result of a temperature reduction of the catalyst occurs when the engine idling is carelessly stopped. Thus, it is possible to effectively reduce discharge gas of the vehicle. The outside air temperature can be estimated based on intake air temperature which is detected after the vehicle runs for a prescribed time. The idle stop of the engine is inhibited in response to a request from an air conditioner or to avoid cool-down of the engine to be restarted. In addition, the idle stop of the engine is allowed or inhibited in consideration of remaining battery charge, particularly in the case of a hybrid vehicle which is equipped with a motor/generator in addition to the engine. The engine is automatically restarted to avoid unwanted reduction of the remaining battery charge.

摘要: An engine control system for a hybrid vehicle having an internal combustion engine and an electric motor as driving force sources, for permitting stopping and restarting of the engine in accordance with predetermined drive conditions. The engine control system includes a fuel cutter for cutting fuel supply to the engine when the vehicle decelerates and an engine speed detector for detecting an engine speed. Stopping of the engine is initiated by cutting the fuel supply by the fuel cutter, and when the engine speed becomes equal to or lower than a predetermined speed, the engine is stopped by operating the motor as a generator and by cutting the fuel supply.
