摘要: A laminated core punching apparatus, configured such that a stator-punching press machine that has a molding die performing a partial punching gradually approaches the shape of the stator core piece. There is a punching die to punching out the stator core piece from a strip-form steel plate, and two stator lamination stations. A rotor-punching press machine and a stator-punching press machine are constructed to operate synchronously. An intermediate loop portion capable of causing a strip-form steel plate to hang down in a loop is provided in order to adjust a length of the strip-form steel plate between the two press machines, and a loop guide portion that guides a loop locus of the strip-form steel plate from above so that the strip-form steel plate does not invert is disposed above the intermediate loop portion to be capable of ascending and descending.

摘要: A multi-speed automatic transmission improves transmission efficiency by reducing drag loss due to high speed rotation of a freely rotating element of a planetary gear set. An automatic transmission for a vehicle includes: an input path T1 of a first speed ratio; an input path T2 which has a larger speed ratio than this input path T1; a planetary gear set of four elements, wherein the four elements are a first element, a second element, a third element, and a fourth element following an order of elements on a speed diagram; a clutch C-2 transmitting a rotation of the input path T2 to the first element S3; a clutch C-1 transmitting the rotation from the input path T2 to the fourth element S2; a clutch C-4 transmitting a rotation from the input path T1 to the first element; a clutch C-3 transmitting the rotation from the input path T1 to the second element C3; a brake B-1 engaging the fourth element; a brake B-2 engaging the second element; and an output member coupled with the third element R3. Accordingly, drag resistance is prevented from increasing because no extremely high speed rotation of the freely rotating element is generated, even when a speed is achieved using any combination of the engagement elements.

摘要: To make it possible to maintain speeds during failures in an automatic transmission that does not have exclusive friction elements corresponding to the attainment of each speed. The hydraulic control apparatus of an automatic transmission, provided with control means 71-74 for supplying regulated pressure to each of the hydraulic servos 81-84 that are first through fourth friction elements to which hydraulic pressure is supplied from the oil path L1, and provided with switching valves (1)-(5) for cutting off the supply of hydraulic pressure to friction elements other than the friction elements that engage in each speed, on the upstream side of the supply paths L31, L32, L10, L11 and L12. Each switching valve is switched by hydraulic pressure (C1-C3, B1 pressures) regulated by the control means that achieve regulated pressure operating conditions during failures, and selective application of signal pressure (Sol, SolB, SoIC pressures) output by the control means as operating means. In a speed that has been attained, the supply path to friction elements that are not to be engaged is cut off. Through this, even during failures the regulated pressure action of the control means corresponding to friction elements that are not to be engaged is ineffective, so the speed that has been attained is fixed.

摘要: A shift control system of an automatic transmission sets a predetermined gear stage by applying a first frictional engagement element and releasing a second frictional engagement element. A pressure regulating mechanism regulates an oil pressure to be fed to or drained from the first frictional engagement element. A failure detector detects a failure of an apparatus to participate in the regulation and control of the oil pressure which is to be fed to or drained from at least one of the first and second frictional engagement elements. A gear stage inhibitor inhibits the setting of the predetermined gear stage if the failure is detected by the failure detector.

摘要: In an automatic transmission, a small-capacity second clutch that does not engage for reverse drive is mounted forward of a counter drive gear, and the other engaging elements of relatively larger capacity, that is, first and third clutches and first to third brakes, are disposed rearward of the counter drive gear, so that an axially extending space is formed between the counter drive gear and the second clutch, which space is utilized to accommodate a parking gear. Such an arrangement of engaging elements allows the counter shaft to be placed closer to the input shaft without the parking gear interfering with the second clutch, thereby enabling a more compact automatic transmission. Furthermore, since there is no need to relocate the counter drive gear rearward, the length of the counter shaft can be reduced, thereby enabling still greater compactness.

摘要: A hydraulic servo device for an automatic transmission is presented with a reduced axial length as a result of the manner in which oil pressure is fed into the cylinder. The hydraulic servo device includes a cylinder, a piston position to slide within the cylinder, a rod connected to the piston, and a cover member for closing the open end of the cylinder. The cover member, in association with the cylinder and the piston, defines an oil chamber in the cylinder. An oil passage for feeding an oil pressure to the oil chamber is formed by an opening in the cover member.

摘要: A vehicular automatic transmission, for establishing a plurality of forward gear stages, includes: a transmission case; an input shaft; a transmission mechanism connected to the input shaft and including a plurality of transmission elements; an output shaft connected to the transmission mechanism; a clutch drivably connecting any one of the input shaft and the transmission elements individually; and a hydraulic servo for applying the clutch responsive to an oil pressure. The transmission case encloses the transmission mechanism, the clutch and the hydraulic servo, and includes axial end walls, on one of which is formed a stationary cylinder for the hydraulic servo. A piston is slidably mounted in the cylinder and together with the cylinder, defines an oil chamber for receipt of the actuating oil pressure. A bearing is arranged between the piston and the clutch for transmitting the thrust force from the piston to the clutch, while allowing relative rotation between the piston and the clutch. The clutch includes a hub with an outer cylindrical surface splined to a friction plate assembly and a rim radially spaced from the hub with the friction plate assembly splined to its inner cylindrical surface. The input shaft is connected to the hub whereas one of the transmission elements is connected to the rim.

摘要: A system and method for controlling an automatic transmission in a vehicle drive train including an engine, the automatic transmission and a fluid coupling for transmitting the rotation of the engine to the transmission. The transmission includes a clutch applied when a forward running range is selected; a second one-way clutch which is applied, when the first clutch is applied, to establish a forward 1st speed; and a brake for locking the one-way clutch, when applied, to block the reverse rotation of the output shaft of the transmission. A first hydraulic servo receives a first oil pressure for applying the first clutch and a second hydraulic servo receives a second oil pressure for applying the brake. When a forward running range is selected, with the vehicle stopped, the engine idling and a foot brake engaged, the oil pressure of the first hydraulic servo is lowered from the oil pressure at the 1st speed whereas the oil pressure of the second hydraulic servo is raised to a modulated pressure. The modulated pressure is set to generate, against the reverse force on the vehicle facing up an incline, a resistance corresponding to the forward driving force generated when the engine is idling in 1st speed.

摘要: A shift control system for shifting an automatic transmission from a predetermined gear stage to another by draining an oil pressure from predetermined frictional engagement element to release the same frictional engagement element and by feeding the oil pressure to another frictional engagement element to engage the same frictional engagement element while controlling the drain oil pressure of the frictional engagement element to be released and the engaging oil pressure to the frictional engagement element to be engaged. The shift control system includes an engine racing detector for detecting the racing of the engine while the transmission is being shifted in a clutch-to-clutch manner, and a hydraulic control circuit for controlling at least one of the drain oil pressure and the engaging oil pressure, on the basis of the degree of racing of the engine, as detected by the engine racing detector, such that the amount of racing of the engine falls within a predetermined range. Since the rotational state of the engine being shifted is controlled by hydraulic control of the frictional engagement elements participating in the clutch-to-clutch shift, it is possible to reliably prevent any excessive racing of the engine and to prevent reduction of output shaft torque due to the tie-up of the frictional engagement elements.

摘要: An automatic transmission control system providing a neutral control state in which there is no slipping engagement of a first clutch which is engaged upon selection of a forward range and, as a result, the vehicle is not subjected to idling vibration. The fuel consumption reducing effect of the neutral control state is maintained and there is no heating and consequent deterioration of the friction material of the clutch. The control system includes a hydraulic servo for operation of the clutch, an input side speed sensor for detecting the input side speed of a fluid power coupling device connecting the transmission to the output of an engine, an output side speed sensor for detecting the output side speed of the fluid power coupling device, and a controller. The controller includes differential speed calculator, differential speed change detector, a pressure increasing device for increasing the hydraulic pressure of the hydraulic servo by a set pressure when the differential speed has not changed, and a pressure reducing device for reducing the hydraulic pressure of the hydraulic servo by a set pressure when the differential speed has changed.
