    摘要: A circuit interrupter has a pair of contacts, a self-restoring type current limiting element and a first electromagnetic trip device serially interconnected. The current limiting element is connected across a parallel connected resistor and a second electromagnetic trip device. Both trip devices have a common magnetic circuit including a single stationary core and a single movable iron piece. The first trip device responds to a shortcircuiting current flowing through it to open the contacts but the second trip device is operative to open the contacts only after the current limiting element has performed the operation of limiting a shortcircuiting current.

    摘要: An image forming apparatus which can prevent the electric discharge when the trailing edge of a recording material passes a transferring position, and yet can stabilize the surface potential of a photosensitive drum. A controller changes a transfer bias voltage Vt during the supply of paper to 0 V before the trailing edge of recording paper arrives at a transferring nip part, changes it to a transfer bias voltage V0 during the non-supply of paper after the trailing edge of the recording paper has passed the transferring nip part, and changes a charging bias voltage to a charging bias voltage smaller than a normal charging bias voltage when an area on the photosensitive drum to which 0 V has been applied passes a charging nip portion. The transfer bias voltage V0 during the non-supply of paper is smaller than the transfer bias voltage Vt during the supply of paper.

    摘要: The image heating apparatus for heating a toner image formed on a recording material, comprising, a rotatable member; heating device for heating an outer peripheral surface of the rotatable member, the heating device including a heater for forming a heating nip portion in cooperation with the rotatable member; back-up device for forming a conveying nip portion in cooperation with the rotatable member, the conveying nip portion conveying the recording material; and control device for controlling a temperature of the heater and a rotation of the rotatable member, wherein the apparatus has a cleaning mode to remove toner from the heating device, and the control device rotates or reversely rotates the rotatable member in a condition that the heater dissipates heat in the cleaning mode. By the virtue of the present invention, it prevents stain caused by the off-set of toner the recording material in an image heating apparatus.

    摘要: In a plate replacing apparatus for a printing press, a plate lockup opening/closing unit opens/closes leading- and trailing-side plate lockup devices upon pivotal movement of a cam shaft. A loader drive unit drives a loader on the plate replacing apparatus between an operation position where a distal end portion of the loader comes close to the plate lockup devices and a storage position where the distal end portion of the loader is separated from the plate lockup devices. A plate removal unit grips an old plate released from the plate lockup devices and inserted into the loader upon rotation of the plate cylinder, and moves the old plate into the loader. A plate supply unit inserts a new plate loaded in the loader into the leading-side plate lockup device. A plate press unit presses the new plate inserted into the leading-side plate lockup device and wound around the circumferential surface of the plate cylinder and inserts the other end of the new plate into the trailing-side plate lockup device. A predetermined plate position stop unit pivots the plate cylinder to stop at a plate gripper position. A controller operates the above apparatus and units.
