    摘要: A permanent magnet type synchronous motor includes an iron core rotor having a plurality of holes which are circumferentially spaced, permanent magnets mounted in the holes, an iron core stator and coils arranged in the stator iron core. The permanent magnets are defined by a flat surface extending tangentially of the rotor, tapered surfaces formed at both ends of the flat surface and extending obliquely outward in a direction approaching each other, and an arcuate surface joining the two tapered surfaces. Each permanent magnet is supported by tapered surfaces formed at opposing ends of the holes and extending obliquely and radially outward in a direction approaching each other. When the rotor is rotated, the centrifugal force is received at the tapered surfaces of the holes, rather than at their arcuate portion.

    摘要: A drive apparatus for an electric vehicle comprises a motor (1), a gear section (9) for transmitting rotation of a rotor shaft (2) of the motor to a wheel, and a case (10, 90) for accommodating the motor and the gear section. The case has a partition (12) that separates a motor chamber (m) for accommodating the motor and a gear chamber (g) for accommodating the gear section, and the partition has an orifice (53) that connects a lower portion of the motor chamber and the gear chamber. Supplying means (5) is provided for supplying oil from the gear chamber into the motor chamber in accordance with rotation of the gear section. Through the operation of the orifice, oil gathers in a lower portion of the motor chamber and, thus, the motor chamber serves as a reservoir. Thus, while employing a light-weight and compact-size construction that does not comprise an oil reservoir, the drive apparatus secures a sufficient amount of lubricating oil during stop of the vehicle, and reduces the stirring loss of the gear section and cools the motor with oil during the running of the vehicle.

This shaft transmits the rotation generated by the motors to drive shafts for rotation of the wheels to run the car. The motors are composed of stators having armature cores and coils, and rotors. The stators are fixed in the drive mechanism case and the rotors are supported by the shaft. Since this shaft is rotatably supported at two points by the drive mechanism case, accurate centering of the rotor is maintained.

    摘要: A driving control device for an electric vehicle includes an electric machine which is driven by a current supplied from a battery, a transmission which is coupled with the electric machine and performs shifting at a predetermined gear ratio, a charging state detecting portion which detects an electric variable that shows a charging state of the battery, a fail determination processing device which determines whether the electric variable exceeds a threshold value and makes a fail determination when the electric variable exceeds the threshold value, and a charging control processing device which decreases a rotational speed of the electric machine and reduces the electric variable when the fail determination is made. The fail determination is made to decrease the rotational speed of the electric machine when field weakening control becomes unperformable and the electric variable exceeds the threshold value, which makes it possible to prevent an overcurrent from being supplied to the battery.

    摘要: A motor 12 includes a cylindrical rotor 20, a stator 19 arranged at a predetermined distance from an outer periphery of the rotor 20, and a position sensor 23 for detecting a rotational position of the rotor 20, wherein the stator 19 includes a stator core 19a and a plurality of stator windings 19b arranged along a circumferential direction of the stator core 19a at substantially equal distances from one another. A shield plate 26 for shielding magnetic flux from the stator windings 19b to the position sensor 23 is mounted against the stator core 19a. Magnetic flux from the stator windings pass through a closed loop starting from the stator windings 19b through the stator core 19a and the shield plate 26 and back to the stator windings to prevent the magnetic flux leakage from the stator windings 19b from flowing to another member. With this arrangement, the magnetic flux leakage from the stator windings does not affect the position sensor (magnetic sensor) which detects the rotational position of the rotor.
