摘要: A vehicular control system includes a plurality of sensors disposed at a vehicle and an electronic control unit (ECU). The vehicular control system, responsive to processing at the ECU of sensor data captured by one of the plurality of sensors, detects an object in the path of the vehicle. The object may be one selected from the group consisting of (i) a pothole, (ii) road debris, and (iii) a speed bump. The ECU, responsive to detecting the object in the path of the vehicle, provides an output to another ECU. The other ECU, responsive to receiving the output, controls two or more of (i) braking of the vehicle, (ii) steering of the vehicle, and (iii) suspension of the vehicle.

In addition, a live map system in some instances may be used to propagate location-based teleassist triggers to autonomous vehicles operating within an environment. A location-based teleassist trigger may be generated, for example, in association with a teleassist session conducted between an autonomous vehicle and a remote teleassist system proximate a particular location, and may be used to automatically trigger a teleassist session for another autonomous vehicle proximate that location and/or to propagate a suggested action to that other autonomous vehicle.

摘要: A method and a device for operating an assistance system of a vehicle involves detecting laterally static and laterally dynamic objects, which the vehicle is to drive past, as lateral boundary objects. A respective lateral distance of the vehicle from the respective lateral boundary object is detected. A speed of the respective laterally dynamic object is determined and at least the respectively laterally dynamic object is classified according to its type. A set of characteristic curves is stored in a control unit of the vehicle, the characteristic curves of the set being assigned in each case to an environmental situation predetermined depending on lateral boundary objects. It is predetermined by a respective characteristic curve for the respective environmental situation at what maximum speed the vehicle is to drive past a lateral boundary object at different lateral distances from the latter.

摘要: A method for qualification of a camera system and/or its image/camera signals of a partially autonomously or autonomously driving vehicle. Infrastructure information from a vehicle's surroundings is used. The image/camera signal of the camera system is monitored by a monitoring function with regard to at least the following criteria: image/camera signal in recurring, known time windows, sequence of the image/camera signals, corruption of the image/camera signals, signature checking of the camera system. Checking of the image/camera signals using unmoving land markings that are reconciled with a list is carried out and they are checked for a mapping signature. Then the image/camera signals and the infrastructure information contained in the updated map check function are communicated to an evaluation function and merged and compared in a signal fusion unit. Consequently, a qualified image/camera signal is obtained.

摘要: Systems and methods are provided for navigating based on behaviors of following vehicles. In one implementation, a navigation system for a host vehicle may include at least one processing device. The at least one processing device may be programmed to receive, from a camera, a plurality of images representative of an environment of the host vehicle; analyze the plurality of images to identify a first target vehicle and a second target vehicle in the environment of the host vehicle; analyze the plurality of images to determine a distance between the first target vehicle and the second target vehicle; and determine, from the plurality of images, a time to reach a boundary associated with one of the first target vehicle and the second target vehicle, wherein the determined time exceeds a first threshold and does not exceed a second threshold.
