摘要: The biodegradable composite insulation material is a composite of wood from the date palm tree (Phoenix dactylifera) and polylactic acid. The composite may have up to 50 wt % date palm wood powder of maximum particle size of 212 μm, the balance being polylactic acid (PLA). The composite may be prepared by melt blending the date palm wood powder with polylactic acid pellets in a twin screw extruder at 190° C., followed by compression molding the blend in a press or the like into the desired shape for building thermal insulation, and finally, annealing the molded product for three hours at 95° C. The composite material is biodegradable, thermally insulating, water-resistant and relatively strong.

摘要: The present invention relates to a process for the manufacturing of composite materials from natural fibers and thermoplastic polymers. Examples of fibers are wood fibers originating from pulping processes known as refiner pulp (RMP), thermomechanical pulp (TMP) or chemi-thermomechanical pulp (CTMP), but the process can also be applied to other kinds of natural fiber containing raw materials. In the process according to the present invention, fibers are introduced from the blowline or the housing of a refiner into a flash tube dryer, separated from humid air in a cyclone, introduced into a compounder and mixed with at least one thermoplastic polymer and the product is subsequently pelletized. The process according to the present invention is advantageously run as a continuous process.

摘要: A method for sorting and comprehensively utilizing municipal solid waste includes steps of: 1) feeding the municipal solid waste into a feeding tank through a feeding inlet, then outputting into a breaking device; 2) breaking refuse bags and large blocks by the breaking device; 3) transporting broken refuse into a two-stage roller screen for screening out dusts with a particle size of less than 3 mm, and hanging strips; and 4) transporting mixed refuse screened by the two-stage screen into a vibrating screen; screening oversize products by a heavy winnowing machine for separating inorganic blocks, large plastics and paper; transporting underflow products into a two-room multi-functional winnowing machine for dividing into heavy materials, light materials and medium materials. By effectively combining sorting devices, effective sorting and reutilization of mixed refuse are achieved. Thereafter, paper, fibers, plastics and kitchen organic refuse are respectively for producing refuse derived fuel, wood-plastic composite and fertilizer.

A scalper scalps off balsa wood and foam from recycled composite chips, a lump breaker shatters the chips produced by the scalper, a hammer mill breaks fiber chips produced by the lump breaker to reduce the chips to strand clusters, a vibratory screen and cyclone air classifier or circular vibratory screener separate strand clusters of acceptable size from larger strand clusters that require repeated processing with a hammer mill, another vibratory screen and cyclone air classifier or circular vibratory screener further separate strand clusters of acceptable size from larger strand clusters that require repeated processing with a hammer mill, and a granulator pulverizes the resulting fiber strand into micro-fibers that can be used as reinforcement fibers.

摘要: Structures for use in forming products having a wood grain appearance include, for example, a plurality of extruded layers having different colors/shades spirally wound about a longitudinal axis to an outer surface to define the structure. The plurality of extruded layers include varying thicknesses along a spiral length of the plurality of layers and/or portions of the plurality of extruded layers encircling the longitudinal axis include portions disposed at different distances from the longitudinal axis. In some embodiments, the spirally winding includes forming a cylindrical structure, and pressing the cylindrical structure into a cuboid structure having a square or rectangular cross-section across the longitudinal axis and at least a portion of the plurality of extruded layers defining a square or rectangle pattern across the longitudinal axis. Longitudinal portions may be cut from the structures to form the products having a wood grain appearance.
