摘要: Polylactic acid film or sheet having tear strength so as not to break or tear during, for example, production or processing of the film or sheet or winding thereof into a roll, and causing neither melt nor deformation at high temperatures more than 100° C. In the polylactic acid film or sheet, the tear strength is not less than 100 N/mm when the film or sheet is torn at least in a flow direction (MD), a rate of dimensional change due to heating is not more than ±3% in the flow direction (MD) and a transverse direction (TD), and a rate of dimensional change due to loaded heating is not more than ±3% in the flow direction (MD).

摘要: Compounds and compositions are provided which are useful in additive printing, particularly additive printing techniques such as stereolithography (SLA) wherein a macromer is photopolymerized to form a manufactured article. Representative compounds comprise a polyaxial central core (CC) and 2-4 arms of the formula (A)-(B) or (B)-(A) extending from the central core, where at least one of the arms comprise a light-reactive functional group (Q) and (A) is the free-radical polymerization product from monomers selected from trimethylene carbonate (T) and ε-caprolactone (C), while (B) is the free-radical polymerization product from monomers selected from glycolide, lactide and ρ-dioxanone.

摘要: The present invention relates to a method of preparing an ASA graft copolymer, a method of preparing a thermoplastic resin composition including the ASA graft copolymer, and a method of manufacturing a molded article using the thermoplastic resin composition. More particularly, the present invention provides an ASA graft copolymer having improved thermal stability through addition of an emulsifier in a specific amount range in a seed preparation step and introduction of a multifunctional carboxylic acid having 20 or more carbon atoms or a salt thereof, as an emulsifier, in a shell preparation step and a high-quality thermoplastic resin composition exhibiting excellent impact resistance, such as impact strength and tensile strength, and excellent appearance, such as surface gloss, whiteness, and retention-associated heat discoloration, and causing considerable reduction in the amount of gas generated on a surface of a resin during a high-temperature thermoforming process due to inclusion of the ASA graft copolymer.

摘要: A nonlimiting example method of forming highly spherical carbon nanomaterial-graft-polyolefin (CNM-g-polyolefin) particles may comprising: mixing a mixture comprising: (a) a CNM-g-polyolefin comprising a polyolefin grafted to a carbon nanomaterial, (b) a carrier fluid that is immiscible with the polyolefin of the CNM-g-polyolefin, optionally (c) a thermoplastic polymer not grafted to a CNM, and optionally (d) an emulsion stabilizer at a temperature greater than a melting point or softening temperature of the polyolefin of the CNM-g-polyolefin and the thermoplastic polymer, when included, and at a shear rate sufficiently high to disperse the CNM-g-polyolefin in the carrier fluid; cooling the mixture to below the melting point or softening temperature to form the CNM-g-polyolefin particles; and separating the CNM-g-polyolefin particles from the carrier fluid.
