摘要: A clutch arrangement for a hybrid vehicle powertrain including an input shaft to be connected to a crankshaft of an internal combustion engine, an output shaft for connection to a transmission, a one-way clutch comprising an inner race connected to rotate with the input shaft and an outer race, a coupling hub rotationally coupled with the output shaft, a synchronizer ring arranged between the coupling hub and the one-way clutch, the synchronizer ring cooperating with the outer race of the one-way clutch, and a coupling sleeve unit that is selectively and axially moveable across the coupling hub. The synchronizer ring and the outer race include three positions, a neutral position, a first position, and a second position.

In one example, the mechanical system in a transmission of a vehicle, comprising: a first one-way clutch included in a first gear combination that is rotationally coupled to an output shaft and to a pump shaft; and a second one-way clutch included in a second gear combination that is arranged parallel to the first gear combination, the second gear combination also rotationally coupled to the output shaft and to the pump shaft; wherein the first and the second gear combinations have an unequal number of gears.

摘要: A driveline includes a driver configured to be positioned between an engine and a transmission. The driver includes a housing, a motor/generator, and a clutch. The housing includes an engine mount configured to couple to the engine and a backing plate configured to couple to the transmission. The motor/generator is disposed within the housing and configured to couple to an input of the transmission. The clutch is disposed within the housing and coupled to the motor/generator. The clutch is configured to selectively couple an output of the engine to the motor/generator. The clutch is configured to be spring-biased into engagement with the engine and pneumatically disengaged by an air supply selectively provided thereto.

摘要: A transmission system selectively coupled to an engine crankshaft of an internal combustion engine arranged on a vehicle includes a transmission, a motor generator an HVAC compressor and a controller. The transmission has an input shaft, a mainshaft, an output shaft and a countershaft offset from the input shaft. The countershaft is drivably connected to the first input shaft and a mainshaft. The motor generator is selectively couple to the countershaft. The HVAC compressor is selectively driven by the motor generator. The controller operates the transmission system in various modes based on operating conditions.

摘要: A torque transfer assembly includes an engine starter, an electric machine, a torque converter, and a disconnect clutch further defined as a mechanical clutch. The vehicle includes an internal combustion engine including an output shaft, and a transmission. The engine starter is adapted to be rotatably coupled to the output shaft for rotating the output shaft to start the internal combustion engine. The electric machine is adapted to be rotatably coupled to the transmission for delivering rotational torque to the transmission. The torque converter is rotatably coupled to the electric machine and adapted to be rotatably coupled to the transmission. The mechanical clutch is adapted to be rotatably coupled to the output shaft and the torque converter. The mechanical clutch is adapted to selectively rotatably couple the output shaft to the torque converter and is adapted to selectively rotatably decouple the output shaft from the torque converter.

摘要: A power transmission apparatus of a hybrid vehicle having an engine and first and second motor-generators includes: a planetary gear set disposed on a first motor shaft of the first motor-generator, and including a planet carrier connected to an engine shaft, a sun gear connected to the first motor shaft, and a ring gear connected to a drive gear through a one-way clutch, a second motor shaft gear connected to a second motor shaft of the second motor-generator, an output shaft disposed between the engine shaft and the second motor shaft, and a brake unit to selectively connect the sun gear and the ring gear to a transmission housing. In particular, the output shaft is externally gear-meshed with the drive gear and the second motor shaft gear respectively through a driven gear, and externally gear-meshed with a final reduction gear of the differential gear through an output gear.

摘要: Methods and systems for a clutch assembly in an electric drive axle of a vehicle are provided. In one example, a clutch assembly in a gear train is provided that includes a locking clutch. The locking clutch includes a gear including a plurality of teeth having at least one tooth with a tapered end, an indexing shaft rotationally connected to an output shaft, a shift collar mounted on the indexing shaft, configured to translate on the indexing shaft into an engaged and disengaged configuration, and including a plurality of teeth on a face, where at least one tooth in the plurality of teeth in the shift collar includes a tapered end, and an indexing mechanism coupled to the shift collar and the indexing shaft and configured to accommodate for indexing between the indexing shaft and the shift collar during shift collar engagement.

摘要: A device for power transmission within a hybrid motor vehicle and a method of operating the device. The device is a P2 module and includes a torque converter, an electric motor, a connect/disconnect clutch and an electro-magnetic controllable clutch. The torque converter is configured to be coupled to an input member of the transmission. The electric motor includes a rotor that is fixedly connected to the input of the torque converter. The connect/disconnect clutch has an input member configured to be coupled to the output of the engine and has first and second clutch members moveable between a disengaged and engaged positons. The second clutch member is also fixedly connected to the torque converter. The electro-magnetic controllable clutch is coupled between the connect/disconnect clutch and the torque converter and has a locked up configuration and a freewheeling configuration.
