摘要: Provided herein are novel foam composites comprising a chitosan-cellulose-MXene hydrogel that has been adsorbed into a foam. Hydrophilic surface-modified two-dimensional MXenes nanosheets integrated into one-dimensional activated cellulose microfibers and three-dimensional neutralized chitosan hydrogel are adsorbed into a foam, for example polyurethane foam, to create the foam composites. Also described herein are the use of the foam composites for the purification of water, including the removal of at least one heavy metal.

摘要: The disclosure relates to a curable composition comprising: a polymerizable epoxy-acrylate resin composition having a complex viscosity at 25° C. and 1 Hz frequency of at least about 4500 Pa-s and a probe tack peak force of at least about 300 kPa; and abrasive particles partially or fully embedded in the polymerizable epoxy-acrylate resin composition. The disclosure also relates to cured compositions formed from such curable compositions, wherein the abrasive particles are partially or fully embedded in the cured composition. In addition, the disclosure relates to abrasive articles made from such cured compositions as well as methods for making abrasive articles.

摘要: The current embodiments include all-polymeric protective material for mitigating lightning strike damage. The protective material includes a hybrid matrix comprising PANI and MXene dispersed within a thermosetting epoxy resin. This hybrid matrix can be painted, printed, or applied as a conductive polymeric layer to a FRCP structure, for example an aircraft fuselage, wing, empennage, control surface (aileron, flap, slats, rudder, elevator) or a wind turbine blade. The protective material not only withstands lightning strikes, but also functions as shielding against electromagnetic interference and is corrosion-resistant and lightweight.

摘要: A dielectric welding film capable of providing excellent adhesiveness to a variety of adherends in a short period of dielectric heating, and an welding method using the dielectric welding film are provided. The dielectric welding film is configured to adhere a pair of adherends of the same material or different materials through dielectric heating, the dielectric welding film including a first thermoplastic resin as an A1 component having a predetermined solubility parameter, a second thermoplastic resin as an A2 component having a solubility parameter larger than the solubility parameter of the first thermoplastic resin, and a dielectric filler as a B component. The welding method uses the dielectric welding film.
