摘要: Provided is a flow path material for a liquid separation apparatus, which is less likely to collapse upon the application of a high pressure to the flow path material and causes a lower reduction of the flow rate. The flow path material for a liquid separation apparatus includes a tricot fabric containing thermoplastic core-sheath composite fibers each made of two kinds of polyester resins having different melting points or softening points. The flow path material for a liquid separation apparatus is configured such that: in the thermoplastic core-sheath composite fibers, a high-melting-point component is placed in the core, while a low-melting-point component is placed in the sheath; the tricot fabric is a tricot knitted fabric knitted with a two-guide-reed knitting machine using the thermoplastic core-sheath composite fibers as a front yarn and a back yarn and is rigidified by the thermoplastic core-sheath composite fibers being bonded to each other; the tricot fabric has a wale density of 45 to 70 yarns/inch (2.54 cm) and a course density of 40 to 70 yarns/inch (2.54 cm); and, when the tricot fabric is heat-pressed at 90° C. and 4.0 MPa for 3 minutes, the percentage of change in the thickness of the tricot fabric before and after pressing is 10% or less.

摘要: Provided is an upholstery material for a seat for vehicles, furniture, etc., wherein the material has excellent designability due to having concave deformed parts, and at the same time can suppress the occurrence of fluffing even if the surface is rubbed by hard protrusions such as hooks of hook-and-loop fasteners, and has excellent cushioning due to suppressing sideways falling. The surface material for a seat according to the present invention is constituted of a three-dimensional knitted fabric comprising a two-layered knitted fabric having a surface layer and a back layer, and a connecting thread that connects the layers of the two-layered knitted fabric, and the surface material is characterized in that the three-dimensional knitted fabric has concave deformed parts on the surface-layer side, and a parameter A, calculated by the formula: parameter A=course density (course/2.54 cm)×concave part thickness (mm)/fabric thickness (mm), is 6-36 (inclusive).

摘要: Disclosed is a weighted material that is configured to effectuate deep pressure therapy to a person when the weighted material is used as a blanket over the person's body. A length of layered yarn is interlooped to form the weighted material. The layered yarn includes an outer tube extending longitudinally from a first end to a second end. The outer tube defines a conduit extending longitudinally therethrough from the first end to the second end. A fiber material is disposed within the conduit and extend longitudinally from the first end to the second end. The interlooped length of yarn, by itself, is configured and sufficiently weighted to effectuate deep pressure therapy to a person when the blanket lies over the person's body. Various other systems and methods are also disclosed.

摘要: Disclosed is a stitch-bonded string comprising at least one stitched line extending in a machine direction and fibers emanating from the at least one stitched line. The at least one stitched line comprises a plurality of loops and said plurality of loops enclose substantially all of said fibers. The stitched line is gathered to reduce a dimension of the plurality of loops holding said fibers within the loops. The stitched line's weight is less than 20%, preferably less than 10%, and more preferably less than 5% of the total weight of the stitch-bonded string. The fibers have a basis weight ranging between 30 and 400 grams/meter2, preferably between 40 and 350 g/m2, preferably between 50 and 300 g/m2 or between 100 and 250 g/m2. Methods for making the string are also disclosed.

摘要: Methods of manufacturing a tubular garment using a knitting machine having a first knitting bed and a second knitting bed are disclosed. An embodiment of the method includes knitting a first fabric panel in the first knitting bed and knitting a second fabric panel in the second knitting bed. The first fabric panel and the second fabric panel being joined to define a first tubular portion of the tubular garment. The method includes temporarily transferring the first fabric panel from the first knitting bed to the second knitting bed and knitting a third fabric panel in the first knitting bed. The method includes joining the third fabric panel to the first fabric panel to define a second tubular portion of the tubular garment. The method includes disposing an electrically conductive bus through the second tubular portion for electrical communication with at least one conductive yarn integrated within the tubular garment.
