    Abstract: Use of copolymers (C) comprising at least one epoxy group and at least one alkoxysilane group as stabilizers for polymers (P), where the copolymers (C) are generally obtained via polymerization of monomers and said monomers comprise those that comprise epoxy groups or alkoxysilane groups or epoxy groups and alkoxysilane groups, or that are reacted during or after polymerization and, after the reaction, comprise epoxy groups or alkoxysilane groups, or epoxy groups and alkoxysilane groups. Processes for stabilizing polymers (P) with respect to hydrolysis, which comprise adding, to the polymers (P), an effective amount of copolymers (C). Copolymers (C′) composed of specific compositions of monomers comprising at least one epoxy group and at least one alkoxysilane group, and also optionally other monomers. Mixtures comprising copolymers (C′) and polymers (P).
