摘要: A heat-sealable polymeric film includes a substrate layer of polymeric material having on a surface thereof a heat-sealable coating layer. The layer includes a copolyester having a degree of crystallinity of at least 5%, and is less than 8 μm in thickness. The copolyester consists essentially of repeat units of one or more aromatic dicarboxylic acids, one or more aliphatic dicarboxylic acids, and a stoichiometric amount of a glycol component consisting of one or more glycols selected from the group consisting of aliphatic glycols and cycloaliphatic glycols.

摘要: A molding apparatus (10) for forming a retaining device. The molding apparatus (10) comprises a molding strip (12) and a molding support (24). The molding strip (12) has an inside face (14), an outside face (16), and a plurality of through cavities (18) extending from the outside face (16) to the inside face (14), the molding strip (12) extending in a longitudinal direction (X) and presenting both a transverse direction (Y) perpendicular to the longitudinal direction (X), and also a height direction (Z) perpendicular to the longitudinal direction (X) and to the transverse direction (Y). The inside face (14) is configured to press against a molding face (26) of the molding support (24), wherein the inside face (14) of the molding strip (12) and/or the molding face (26) of the molding support (24) includes an array of passages, the array of passages forming vents and connecting together the cavities (18) when the molding strip (12) is pressed against the molding support (24).

摘要: A primary laminate including a tabstock in which a seal laminate including a foil layer and a top foam layer, a tabstock and a plastic film stock are fed to a laminating station is provided herein. At the lamination station, a curtain of polymeric adhesive is extruded between the plastics film stock and the top face of the primary substrate, which is partly comprised of the top face of the tabstock and partly comprised of the top foam layer of the seal laminate. Use of primary laminates obtained by such a process to form seals for sealing a container, for food or drink stored at low temperatures, is also described.

摘要: The invention discloses oxygen scavenging films having at least one oxygen scavenging layer comprising a blend of ethylene/methyl acrylate/cyclohexene methyl acrylate copolymer (EMCM) as oxygen scavenger resin and a catalyst in a carrier resin, and an outer substrate layer having a thickness greater than 5% with respect to the total thickness of the film. The invention also relates to a process for the manufacturing of such films, to the use of said films in food packaging and to the packages obtained therefrom.

摘要: A resin-coated metal sheet for can lids includes a metal sheet coated with thermoplastic resin films on both surfaces and formed into a can lid. A thermoplastic resin film A based on polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) and polyethylene terephthalate (PET) is heat-fused on a surface of the metal sheet serving as an exterior surface of the can lid, and a thermoplastic resin film B based on polyethylene terephthalate (PET) is heat-fused on a surface of the metal sheet serving as an interior surface of the can lid. A composition ratio (wt %) of PBT/PET in the thermoplastic resin film A on the exterior surface is (PBT/PET)=(40/60) to (80/20), and the thermoplastic resin film B on the interior surface includes 95 mol % or more of PET.
