摘要: A construction machine includes an engine, a load estimation unit that estimates a pump power absorption, a regeneration/powering power demand calculation unit that calculates a regeneration/powering power demand according to a state of charge in an electrical storage device, an engine power demand calculation unit that calculates an engine power demand based on the power absorption and regeneration/powering power demand, and a motor generator control unit that performs rotational speed control or torque control. The control unit includes a control switching unit that switches the rotational speed and the torque control according to the engine power demand and the rotational speed of the engine. The control switching unit switches from the torque control to the rotational speed control when during performance of the torque control, the engine power demand increases and the rotational speed of the engine becomes lower than a predetermined rotational speed.

摘要: Methods and systems are providing for improving engine coolant level estimation to reduce engine overheating. The level of fluid in a coolant overflow reservoir is inferred based on the fluid level in a hollow vertical standpipe fluidically coupled to the reservoir at top and bottom locations, while the fluid level in the standpipe is estimated based on echo times of an ultrasonic signal transmitted by a sensor positioned in a recess at the bottom of the vertical standpipe. Engine power is limited differently based on distinct coolant level states determined based on a change in level of coolant in the reservoir over a duration.

摘要: An intelligent intervention method based on an integrated tire pressure monitoring system includes monitoring a tire pressure and a tire temperature of a vehicle, and monitoring, a wheel speed of the vehicle; transmitting the tire pressure, the tire temperature and the wheel speed to a host; judging in real time whether the vehicle is in a normal status or in an abnormal status, via integrating the tire pressure, the tire temperature and the wheel speed; producing a deviation signal, when the tire pressure, the tire temperature and the wheel speed deviate from normal thresholds and transmitting the deviation signal to an intelligent intervention system; and performing intelligent intervention to slow down the vehicle in a straight line until the vehicle stops, when the deviation signal is received. The method enables the vehicle to run safely until stopping even in case of tire blowout, so as to prevent rollover or collision.

摘要: A power system is disclosed as having a power source, a transmission configured to receive a torque output from the power source and to drive a traction device, and an operator input device. The power system may also have a controller configured to reference a signal from the operator input device with a map stored in memory to determine a corresponding speed of the power source, and to determine a margin between an actual and a maximum available torque output of the power source at a current speed. The controller may also be configured to selectively adjust a speed of the power source mapped to the maximum displaced position of the operator input device based on the margin, and to selectively adjust fueling of the power source at a current displacement position of the operator input device and operation of the transmission based on the signal and map.

摘要: An energy module determines an amount of energy consumed by an electric heater of a fuel vapor canister since an ignition system of the vehicle was last transitioned from OFF to ON. A purge valve control module controls opening a purge valve while the ignition system of the vehicle is ON, wherein fuel vapor flows from the vapor canister through the purge valve to an air intake system when the purge valve is open. A heater control module selectively applies power to the electric heater of the fuel vapor canister and, based on at least one of the amount of energy consumed by the electric heater and a mass of fuel vapor that has flowed through the purge valve, selectively disconnects the electric heater from the power until after the ignition system is transitioned from ON to OFF.

摘要: A control system controls a light source which illuminates an implement coupled to a utility vehicle. The control system includes a vehicle control unit and a data bus which is connected to the vehicle control unit, the light source and an actuator which adjusts the light source. An implement control unit is mounted in the implement and is connected to the data bus. The implement control unit transmits, via the data bus, data regarding the work width and/or work height and/or position of the implement with respect to the utility vehicle. The vehicle control unit, in response to the data transmitted from the implement control unit, controls the actuator to adjust of the orientation and/or of the opening angle of a light cone of the light source.
