摘要: The current invention provides a novel method to synthesize a mono-disperse non-porous polymer particles with a unique gradient composition from the core to the shell. In particular, The present invention offers the flexibility to design the chemical and physical properties of different sections of the particle. This flexibility allows for significant latitude in the design of particles for analyzing a large variety of samples in different fields—through using these particles in different chromatography techniques including, but not limited to, ion exchange HPLC (e.g., bio-separation at different modes), reversed-phase HPLC, narrow bore and capillary HPLC, hydrophilic/hydrophobic interaction liquid chromatography, capillary electrochromatography separation, and two dimensional liquid chromatography.

摘要: An example of a composition includes a host metal present in an amount ranging from about 95.00 weight percent to about 99.99 weight percent, based on a total weight of the composition. A flow additive is also present in an amount ranging from about 0.01 weight percent to about 5.00 weight percent, based on the total weight of the composition. The flow additive consists of an organic material that is pyrolyzable at a pyrolysis temperature that is less than a sintering temperature of the host metal. The composition is spreadable, having a Hausner Ratio less than 1.25.

摘要: A vulcanizable rubber composition comprises an interpenetrating or ionic network (IPN)-promoting resin. The resin comprises side chain functional groups along the resin backbone, which, in the presence of an additive material, form the connections that make up the IPN. In one embodiment, such material is ZnO. A method for forming the rubber composition comprises, in a productive step, mixing the product of the non-productive step, the zinc oxide, and a resin derived from maleic anhydride. The zinc oxide and the resin are simultaneously added to the composition during the productive mixing stage. The rubber composition can be cured and incorporated in a tire component, such as, a tread.

摘要: A microspheric ionomer having a cross-linked structure, a preparation method therefor, applications thereof, and a preparation system thereof. The ionomer comprises structure units A represented by formula (1), structure units B represented by formula (2), and a cross-linking structure provided by a cross-linking agent, M being separately selected from H, a metal cation, and a straight chain, a saturated alkyl of branched or ring-shaped C1-C20, R being H or a methyl; and metal cations are introduced to part of structure units A in the ionomer. The ionomer shows an outstanding effect on nucleation of PET, serves as a nucleating agent for PET modification, so as to obtain a corresponding PET composition. A system and method for continuously preparing maleic acid ester ionomer microspheres and cross-linked maleic acid ionomer microspheres, so as to achieve continuous preparation, washing and separation of ionomer microspheres, effectively stabilizes the separation effect, and avoids frequent start and stop operations of a centrifuge.

The resist composition contains a polymer, a solvent, and an aromatic vinyl monomer, and has a content of the aromatic vinyl monomer relative to the polymer of not less than 10 mass ppm and not more than 30,000 mass ppm.

摘要: The invention relates to a method of producing styrene monomers by depolymerization (breakdown) of a styrene-copolymer-containing polymer mass, a device for carrying out the method, the use of a styrene copolymer for producing styrene monomers by thermal depolymerization and the use of a styrene copolymer as an additive in the thermal depolymerization of polystyrene. The polymer mass contains I) 10 to 100 wt %, relative to the total weight of the polymer mass (A), of a styrene copolymer (I), comprising: Ia) 10 to 99 wt %, relative to the styrene copolymer (I), of repeating units (Ia) that originate from styrene; and Ib) 1 to 90 wt %, relative to the styrene copolymer (I), of repeating units (Ib) that originate from a monomer the homopolymers of which have a ceiling temperature of below 350° C.; and II) optionally 0 to 90 wt % polystyrene (II).

摘要: The invention relates to a method for producing a hydrocarbon resin, in which method a monomer mixture which contains an aromatic component containing indene and/or C1-4 alkylindene and a cyclic diolefin component containing a cyclic diolefin compound is polymerized by heating to a polymerization temperature of at least 180° C. to obtain a product stream containing hydrocarbon resin, wherein oligomers which contain units originating from the cyclic diolefin compound and/or units originating from the aromatic component are separated from the product stream and returned to the monomer mixture, and wherein the hydrocarbon resin is heated in an annealing step to a temperature of 150° C. to 300° C. for a period of 15 minutes to 240 hours. The invention also relates to a hydrocarbon resin that is obtainable by the method, to a hydrogenated hydrocarbon resin, and to the use of the hydrocarbon resin and the hydrogenated hydrocarbon resin.
