摘要： Electro-responsive hydrogel particles are flowed into a first wellbore formed in a subterranean formation. An electric circuit is established between the first wellbore and a second wellbore formed in the subterranean formation. An electric current is applied through the electric circuit, thereby exposing the electro-responsive hydrogel particles to an electric field and causing at least one of swelling or aggregation of the electro-responsive hydrogel particles to form a flow-diverting plug within the subterranean formation. Water is flowed into the first wellbore to increase hydrocarbon production from the second wellbore.

摘要： A transparent acrylic-based polymer composition has an increased resistance to alcohols, oils and fats. The polymer composition contains: (A) a copolymer of alkyl(meth)acrylates, aromatic vinyl monomer and unsaturated carboxylic acid anhydride; (B) a copolymer containing aromatic vinyl monomer and a vinyl cyanide monomer; and (C) a particulate core-shell type graft copolymer containing a butadiene-based core as a rubbery phase and a copolymer containing alkyl(meth)acrylates and, optionally, aromatic vinyl monomer as a hard phase. The components A and B form a polymer matrix and the particulate core-shell type graft copolymer C is dispersed in said polymer matrix.

The disclosure includes a method for determining an analyte in an interaction assay, including contacting the sample with an interaction modulator, wherein the interaction modulator is an enhancer of the interaction assay at low analyte concentrations and is a retarder of the interaction assay at high analyte concentrations and wherein the interaction modulator is Poly-(4-styrenesulfonic acid-co-maleic acid) (PSSM) and/or Polyacrylic acid (PAA). The disclosure further relates to a kit having a detection agent specifically detecting an analyte and at least one interaction modulator. 摘要： Described herein is a polar non-aqueous dispersion comprising polar polymeric microparticles in a polar non-aqueous medium, the polar polymeric microparticles being insoluble in the medium and being produced by dispersion polymerization of vinyl monomers such as acrylate monomers in the medium in the presence of a polymeric acrylic stabilizer. Inks, coatings and overprint varnishes are formulated that employ the polar non-aqueous dispersion. Such inks, etc., exhibit superior chemical resistance properties, for example in one-part and two-part systems.
