    Abstract: The invention relates in a first aspect to an azadibenzocyclooctyne derivative according to formula (I) or a salt thereof having specific substituents at the benzo rings of the DIBAC structure and having specific substituents connected to the nitrogen atom of the DIBAC structure. A second aspect of the invention is directed to a conjugate of formula (II), wherein a substituent R6 is connected to the N atom of the 8 membered ring of the DIBAC structure via a linker structure —C(═O)-[L]n-Z—. A third aspect of the invention relates to a method for the modification of a target molecule, wherein a conjugate according to the second aspect is reacted with a target molecule comprising a 1,3-dipole group or a 1,3-(hetero)diene group. In a fourth aspect, the invention is directed to the use of the conjugate according to the second aspect for bioorthogonal labeling and/or modification of a target molecule. A fifth aspect of the invention relates to a modified target molecule comprising the reaction product of a conjugate according to the second aspect and a target molecule comprising a 1,3-dipole group or a 1,3-(hetero)diene group, obtained or obtainable from the method of the third aspect. In a sixth aspect, the invention is related to a kit comprising a modified target molecule according to the fifth aspect as detector reagent and a suitable capture reagent.

    Abstract: An automatic analyzer for analyzing samples includes a lift, a part take-out station and a rack recovery station. The lift is configured to raise and lower a plurality of stacked part racks to the part take-out station and to the rack recovery station while keeping the part racks together. The part take-out station comprises a first rack separator configured to prevent the uppermost one of said stacked part racks from being lowered when the lift lowers, while allowing the other part racks to lower, so that the uppermost rack is separated from the other part racks so as to remain in the part take-out station. The rack recovery station comprises a second rack separator configured to prevent the uppermost one of said stacked part racks from being lowered when said lift lowers, while allowing the other part racks to lower, so as to remain in the rack recovery station.

    Abstract: A method for calibrating at least one analytic device with repeated hardware components is disclosed and comprises providing at least one calibrator sample i having a known target value of a concentration of at least one analyte; at least one measuring step, wherein the measuring step comprises conducting at least one measurement on the calibrator sample using the analytic device, wherein at least one detector signal sijk is acquired; at least one calibration step, wherein a relationship between the detector signal and the concentration of the analyte and/or between the detector signal and a theoretical signal value is determined, wherein the calibration step comprises providing at least one parametrized function; determining calibration values by conducting a calibration based on the parametrized function; and determining an analysis function on basis of an inverse of the parametrized function and the determined calibration values.
