摘要: A chemical bath deposition system is used for forming a buffer layer on a back electrode substrate having a photoelectric transducing layer. The chemical bath deposition system includes a chemical bath tank, a chemical-solution purification device, and a dosing device. The chemical bath tank is used for storing a buffer-layer solution including cation and anion. The cation is adapted to react with the anion to form the buffer layer when the back electrode substrate is immersed in the buffer-layer solution. The chemical-solution purification device is communicated with the chemical bath tank for removing residual cation to obtain a purified solution after the cation reacts with the anion to form the buffer layer. The dosing device is for performing compensation of the cation according to a component ratio of a purified solution.

摘要: Described is a continuous electroless deposition method and a system to form a solar cell buffer layer with a varying composition through its thickness are provided. The composition of the buffer layer is varied by varying the composition of a chemical bath deposition solution applied onto an absorber surface on which the buffer layer with varying composition is formed. In one example, the buffer layer with varying composition includes a first section containing CdS, a second section containing CdZnS formed on top of the already deposited CdS, and a third section containing ZnS is formed on the second section All the process steps are applied in a roll-to-roll fashion. In another example, a transparent conductive layer including a first transparent conductive film such as aluminum doped zinc oxide and a second transparent conductive film such as indium tin oxide is deposited over the buffer layer with the varying composition.

摘要: The present invention relates to surface treatments of aluminum foils and aluminum foil alloys. The process for surface treatment includes steps of applying an etching solution to chemically etch at least one surface of the foil to form an etched surface, and forming an aluminium oxidized coating on the etched surface. The present invention also relates to a method of producing an immobilized transition metal nanofibre using an electrospinning apparatus having a spinning tip, the method including the steps of, mixing an organo-metallic salt of a transition metal with a low boiling solvent mixture and polymer solution, the polymer solution having an average viscosity selected at between about 110 cp to 180 cp, preferably 130 cp to 160 cp, providing the spinning tip at a location spaced from a support surface, electrospinning the resultant mixture from the spinning tip onto a support surface in an environment substantially isolated from external air currents.

摘要: A method of making a patterned metal oxide film includes jetting a sol-gel solution on a substrate. The sol-gel solution is dried to form a gel layer on the substrate. Portions of the gel layer are irradiated to pattern the gel layer and to form exposed portions. Irradiation causes the exposed portions of the gel layer to become at least one of substantially condensed to an oxide, substantially densified, substantially cured, and combinations thereof. The unexposed portions of the gel layer are removed, thereby forming the patterned metal oxide film.
