摘要: The present invention provides an exhaust gas treatment system comprising an oxidation catalyst and an SCR catalyst, wherein the oxidation catalyst comprises an inert ceramic or metal honeycomb body and a catalytically active coating comprising a platinum group metal supported on a refractory support oxide and lanthanum wherein lanthanum is present in an amount of at least 13% by weight calculated as La2O3 and based on the weight of the refractory support material.

摘要: A device for purifying exhaust gas may be provided to purify exhaust gas in an engine includes an exhaust line through which exhaust gas discharged from the engine passes, a diesel oxidation catalyst (DOC) that is disposed in the exhaust line to purify hydrocarbon (HC) and carbon monoxide (CO) of the exhaust gas, a urea injector that injects a urea aqueous solution into the exhaust line, and a selective catalyst reduction (SCR) that reduces nitrogen oxide of the exhaust gas passing through the DOC by use of the urea aqueous solution, in which the DOC includes an LTA zeolite catalyst.

摘要: A lean NOx trap composition for the treatment of exhaust gas emissions, such as the oxidation of unburned hydrocarbons (HC), and carbon monoxide (CO), and the trapping and reduction of nitrogen oxides (NOx) is disclosed. The lean NOx trap composition can have a washcoat layer on a carrier substrate including a first support material comprising greater than 50% by weight of a reducible metal oxide; 10 to 30% by weight of alkaline earth metal supported on a second support material comprising a refractory metal oxide and 50% or less by weight of a reducible metal oxide and; and a platinum group metal component supported on at least one of the first support material and/or the second support material. A portion of the first support material may further include 0.5% to 10% by weight of an alkaline earth metal.

摘要: An engine exhaust system includes an exhaust pipe assembly having an engine exhaust system inlet configured to receive engine exhaust and an engine exhaust system outlet. The system includes a first selective catalytic reduction (SCR) catalyst device positioned downstream in exhaust flow from the engine exhaust system inlet. The first SCR catalyst device includes a substrate with a metallic catalyst coated on the substrate. An electric heater is configured to heat the metallic catalyst. A second SCR catalyst device is positioned downstream in engine exhaust flow from the first SCR catalyst device and upstream of the engine exhaust system outlet. The first SCR catalyst device and the exhaust pipe assembly define an empty chamber between the substrate and the second SCR catalyst device. Engine exhaust flows directly from the substrate to the second SCR catalyst device through the empty chamber.

摘要: A provision of assemblies and methods for treating an exhaust gas from an internal combustion engine. The treatment method comprises at least two catalyst stages. The exhaust gas is directed to a first stage catalyst. After the first stage catalyst, the exhaust is passed to an inter-catalyst stage comprising an exhaust cooling process and an oxygen enrichment process. Next, the exhaust is passed to a second stage catalyst for reducing carbon monoxide, ammonia and hydrocarbon concentration in the exhaust gas, before exiting via an outlet.

摘要: A catalyst article having an extruded support having a plurality of channels through which exhaust gas flows during operation of an engine, and a single layer coating or a bi-layer coating on the support, where the extruded support contains a third SCR catalyst, the single layer coating and the bilayer-coating contain platinum on a support with low ammonia storage and a first SCR catalyst. The catalytic articles are useful for selective catalytic reduction (SCR) of NOx in exhaust gases and in reducing the amount of ammonia slip. Methods for producing such articles are described. Methods of using the catalytic articles in an SCR process, where the amount of ammonia slip is reduced, are also described.
