摘要: In one embodiment, a method to detect noise levels in electrocardiogram (ECG) signals is described. The method includes connecting to at least three sensing electrodes and obtaining a signal from each of the at least three sensing electrodes. The method also includes defining at least three channels between the at least three electrodes. The method includes calculating a morphological similarity value of at least one combination of the at least three channels based at least in part on the obtained signal from each of the at least three sensing electrodes and determining a noise level based at least in part on the calculated morphological similarity value.

摘要: Techniques are disclosed for explaining and visualizing an output of a machine learning system that detects cardiac arrhythmia in a patient. In one example, a computing device receives cardiac electrogram data sensed by a medical device. The computing device applies a machine learning model, trained using cardiac electrogram data for a plurality of patients, to the received cardiac electrogram data to determine, based on the machine learning model, that an episode of arrhythmia has occurred in the patient and a level of confidence in the determination that the episode of arrhythmia has occurred in the patient. In response to determining that the level of confidence is greater than a predetermined threshold, the computing device displays, to a user, a portion of the cardiac electrogram data, an indication that the episode of arrhythmia has occurred, and an indication of the level of confidence that the episode of arrhythmia has occurred.

摘要: The present invention generally relates to compositions comprising anesthesia-reversing agents which facilitate or increase the time of awakening or reverse the effects of general anesthesia-induced unconsciousness. In some embodiments, the anesthesia reversing agent can be selected from any or a combination of methylphenidate (MPH), amphetamine, modafinil, amantadine, caffeine, or analogues or derivatives thereof. In some embodiments, compositions comprising at least one or more anesthesia-reversing agents can be used to facilitate awakening from anesthesia without or decreasing occurrence of delirium, and can be used in methods to treat or prevent the symptoms associated with emergence delirium, as well as treat a subject oversedated with general anesthesia. The invention also relates to methods for administering these compositions comprising anesthesia-reversing agents to subjects and for use.

摘要: One variation of a method for hosting mobile access to dense electroencephalography data includes: receiving a set of signals, in a raw resolution, recorded by a set of channels in an electroencephalography headset during an electroencephalography test; receiving, from a client computing device, a view parameters for viewing the set of signals on a display; calculating a quantity of raw signal points per pixel column of the display based on the view parameters and a length of a segment of the electroencephalography test; for each signal in the set of signals, for each discrete contiguous sequence of the quantity of raw signal points within the segment of the signal, calculating a value set characterizing the discrete contiguous sequence of the quantity of raw signal points in the signal; and generating a static image representing value sets for each channel, in the set of channels, across the segment of the electroencephalography test.

摘要: An electrocardiography patch is provided. A backing includes an elongated strip with a midsection connecting two rounded ends. The midsection tapers in from each end and is narrower than each of the two ends. An electrode is positioned on each end of the backing on a contact surface to capture electrocardiographic signals. A circuit trace electrically is coupled to each of the electrodes in the pair. A battery is provided on an outer surface of the backing opposite the contact surface. Memory is provided on the outer surface of the backing to store data regarding the electrocardiographic signals. A processor is powered by the battery to write the data into the memory.
