    摘要: The present invention provides a conductor paste for rapid firing that is applied to a ceramic green sheet and is fired along with the green sheet under high-rate temperature rise conditions at a high heating rate of at least 600° C./hr from room temperature to the maximum firing temperature. The paste includes as a conductor-forming powder material: a conductive metallic powder comprising, as a main component, nickel powder; and barium titanate ceramic powder with a mean particle diameter of 10 nm to 80 nm as an additive. The ceramic powder content is 5 to 25 mass parts per 100 mass parts of the conductive metallic powder.

    摘要: Methods and apparatus are taught for selectively oxidizing carbon monoxide in a source of gas containing carbon monoxide and hydrogen. A gas containing carbon monoxide and hydrogen is fed into a membrane reactor (10, 50, 60) capable of selectively absorbing the carbon monoxide. Preferably, the reactor comprises a substantially defect-free zeolite membrane (4) having at one metal that acts as an oxidation catalyst. The zeolite membrane (4) may be supported on a porous ceramic support (2, 52, 61) and the average pore diameter is preferably between about 0.3 nm and about 1.0 nm. Moreover, the substantially defect-free zeolite membrane (4) preferably has a thickness between about 0.1 micron and about 50.0 microns. The at least one metal is preferably capable of selectively oxidizing the carbon monoxide and is preferably platinum. Preferably, the temperature of reactor housing is maintained at about 200-300° C.

    摘要: A flat-panel display includes a front glass, glass substrate, cathodes, gate electrodes, phosphor films, and anodes. The front glass has translucency at least partly. The substrate is placed to oppose the front glass through a vacuum space. The cathodes are formed on the substrate. The gate electrodes are placed in the vacuum space and spaced apart from the cathodes. The phosphor layers and anodes are formed on a surface of the front glass which opposes the substrate. Each cathode includes a metal member having many opening portions which is mounted on the substrate, and a conductive material containing carbon nanotubes filled in the mesh-like opening portions. A method of manufacturing a flat-panel display is also disclosed.

    摘要: A vacuum fluorescent display includes a cathode electrode, grid electrode, anode electrode, at least one envelope, phosphor screen, and cap. The cathode electrode emits electrons. The grid electrode extracts the electrons from the cathode electrode. The anode electrode accelerates the electrons extracted from the cathode electrode. The envelope accommodates the cathode electrode, grid electrode, and anode electrode in a vacuum space and has a phosphor screen plate having light transmission properties. The phosphor screen is formed on an inner surface of the phosphor screen plate of the envelope and adapted to emit light upon bombardment of the electrons accelerated by the anode electrode. The cap is made of an X-ray shielding material and supported outside the envelope so as to surround the phosphor screen plate of the envelope through a gap. The cap has a light exit portion from which the light emitted from the phosphor screen emerges through the phosphor screen plate of the envelope.
