A multi-layered laminated body may especially be used as an interior trim panel in a motor vehicle. The panel includes a substrate, a foam intermediate layer, and a decorative surface layer. The substrate preferably includes three layers, namely a core layer including a natural fiber filler material embedded in a thermoplastic matrix material, and two cover layers comprising natural fibers, glass fibers or polyester fibers in a thermoplastic matrix material. The thermoplastic matrix material is preferably polypropylene. All of the materials of the multi-layered panel are easily broken down or otherwise processed for reuse or recycling. The panels are preferably produced by hot laminating the individual layers of the substrate together and then laminating and molding the decorative surface layer onto the substrate.

In the preferred embodiment, the preparing of the molded rotor yoke is accomplished by applying layers of uncured low-flow composite material and a layer of uncured high-flow adhesive; substantially enclosing the uncured molded rotor yoke in the closed cavity tool; and applying pressure so as to compress the uncured molded rotor yoke; and curing the uncured molded rotor yoke. During the curing process, the high-flow adhesive bleeds out of the molded rotor yoke, thereby preventing marcels from forming through movement of the low-flow composite material.

A method for fabricating emulated wood with pores and fibers, comprising: immersing a plurality of synthetic fibers configured parallel in a plane into a resin so that the resin is coated on the surfaces of the plurality of synthetic fibers and in the gaps between the plurality of synthetic fibers; placing the plurality of synthetic fibers between two sheets, wherein the two sheets are planar sheets made from a uniform composition comprising a thermoplastic elastomer, a foaming agent, and a crosslinking agent; carrying out a heat-press process on the two sheets so that the foaming agent undergoes microcellular foaming and forms dense closed pores in the two sheets, and so that the composition on inner surfaces of the two sheets expands towards the plurality of synthetic fibers and penetrates through the gaps between the plurality of synthetic fibers; and cooling the two sheets to yield an emulated wood board.
