摘要: An exhaust gas purification method by which carbon monoxide (CO), hydrocarbon (HC), and nitrogen oxide (NOx), particularly NOx, which are hazardous components contained in an exhaust gas can be removed efficiently. The disclosure relates to a catalyst for exhaust gas purification including: a three-dimensional structure; and a catalyst component layer composed of one or more constituting layers on the three-dimensional structure, wherein the catalyst component layer contains (a) a noble metal-unsupported alumina having mesopores, (b) NOx storage material-supported cerium, (c) a refractory inorganic oxide, and (d) a noble metal, and the constituting layer of the uppermost surface among the one or more constituting layers contains (a) the noble metal-unsupported alumina and (b) the NOx storage material-supported cerium, a method for producing the same, and an exhaust gas purification method using the catalyst.

摘要: A method of selectively catalysing the reduction of oxides of nitrogen (NOx) including nitrogen monoxide in an exhaust gas of a stationary source of NOx emissions also containing oxides of sulfur (SOx) comprising the steps of passively oxidising nitrogen monoxide to nitrogen dioxide (NO2) over an oxidation catalyst comprising a platinum group metal so that a NO2/NOx content is from 40-60%; introducing a nitrogenous reductant into the exhaust gas; and contacting exhaust gas having the 40-60% NO2/NOx content and containing the nitrogenous reductant with a selective catalytic reduction (SCR) catalyst comprising an aluminosilicate zeolite promoted with copper.

摘要: The present invention relates to a catalyst for the removal of carbon monoxide and hydrocarbon from the exhaust gas of lean-operated internal combustion engines on a supporting body, which bears platinum and/or palladium on one or more refractory carrier materials and also contains cerium oxide and which, after reductive treatment at 250° C. and after CO adsorption, is characterized by certain peaks in Diffuse Reflectance Infrared Fourier Transform Spectroscopy (DRIFTS), and also relates to the use thereof for removing carbon monoxide and hydrocarbon from the exhaust gas of lean-operated internal combustion engines.

The support includes a composite oxide having a composition represented by a general formula ABαCβO3, wherein A represents one or more elements selected from the group consisting of lanthanum, neodymium, and yttrium, B represents iron or a combination of iron and aluminum, C represents one or more elements selected from the group consisting of iridium, ruthenium, tantalum, niobium, molybdenum, and tungsten, α and β each represents a numerical value within a range of more than 0 and less than 1, and α and β satisfy relational formulae of β>α and α+β≦1.

摘要: In one embodiment, the catalyst assembly includes a two-dimension (2-D) extensive catalyst having a catalyst crystal plane; and a substrate supporting the 2-D extensive catalyst and having a substrate crystal plane in substantial alignment with the catalyst crystal plane. In certain instances, the catalyst crystal plane includes first and second adjacent catalyst atoms defining a catalyst atomic distance, the substrate crystal plane includes first and second adjacent substrate atoms defining a substrate atomic distance, a percent difference between the catalyst and substrate atomic distances is less than 10 percent.
