Abstract:
A pneumatic tire which is used for a vehicle and obtained after a rubber material is formed by vulcanization. A cap portion (12A), which is an upper layer of a tread and directly contacts the road surface, is a foam rubber which includes innumerable elongated closed cells (24). The outer portion of the elongated closed cell (24) is coated by a resinous protective layer (26). During the vulcanization process of the tire, a resin whose viscosity is lower than that of a rubber matrix and a blowing agent which generates gas are kneaded with a rubber material so as to obtain a rubber composition. The rubber composition is formed in the shape of a band and adhered to a crown portion of a raw tire casing. The resin is melted by the heat of vulcanization and the viscosity of the resin is lower than that of the rubber matrix. The gas generated in the rubber moves toward and concentrates at the inner side of the resin. Accordingly, an elongated closed cell (24) whose outer portion is provided with the resinous protective layer (26) is formed.
Abstract:
A bladder-type jig used for manufacturing a stiffened panel structure using a hat stringer has the advantage that deformation of prepreg can be suppressed effectively, and durability of the jig can be improved so that repeated use of the jig is achieved. A body of the bladder includes a pipe-shaped portion and a coating film covering the outer peripheral surface of the pipe-shaped portion. The pipe-shaped portion is a main body portion of the body, and is made of a silicone rubber composition material such that its transverse cross-section has a trapezoidal pipe shape. Both side edge portions of an exposed wall portion corresponding to a lower base of the transverse cross-section are thickened edge portions which are greater in thickness than another wall portions. The thickened edge portions support the exposed wall portion from inward of the body, and can suppress the exposed wall portion from getting deformed inwardly.
Abstract:
A signal processing apparatus able to raise a processing capability in processing accompanying access to a storing means is provided. Stream control units (SCU) 203—0 to 203—3 access data at an external memory system or local memories 204—0 to 204—3 according to a thread under control from a host processor. Processor units (PU) arrays 202—0 to 202—3 perform image processing by a different thread from the thread of the SCUs 203—0 to 203—3.

Abstract:
The present invention provides a disc drive apparatus capable of identifying a disc (12 cm) having a small data area (8 cm) in central as same as an ordinary 12 cm disc. The apparatus having a light receiving unit 105b and a push switch 106b. The unit 105b is arranged in a position where the unit 105b detects the disc having the small data area in central when the switch 106b detects the same, and where the unit 105b does not detect a disc (12 cm) having a hole (8 cm) in central when the 106b detects the same. The apparatus also has an disc identifier for identifying type of the disc based on the detected results of the light receiving units and/or the push switches.
Abstract:
To provide a component built-in wiring board and a manufacturing method thereof capable of further improving component mounting density without deteriorating-reliability. The component built-in wiring board includes: a conductive layer (34, 35) extending in a thickness direction of the board and buried in the board without being exposed from an upper and a lower surface of the board; an electrical/electronic component (33) having a terminal and buried in the board with the terminal facing the buried conductive layer; a connecting member (36, 37) provided in a gap between the terminal of the buried electrical/electronic component and the conductive layer to electrically/mechanically connect the terminal and the conductive layer; and two upper and lower insulating layers (11, 15) which cover an outer surface of the buried electrical/electronic component excluding a portion connected to the connecting member and which are in close contact with a top and a bottom in the board thickness direction of the electrical/electronic component.
Abstract:
There is a structure and method for measuring the lengths of lines and spaces in semiconductor process. In an example embodiment, a lithographic structure (400) comprises, a frame (450). The frame includes a top inside edge, a top outside edge, a bottom inside edge, a bottom outside edge, a left inside edge, a left outside edge, a right inside edge, and a right outside edge. There is a first array of lines (430) and spaces, the first array having end of lines (420b) and end of spaces (430a). The lines have a first line width and the spaces have a first space width; the end of spaces are at a first distance (10) from the top outside edge of the frame (450), the end of lines are at a second distance (20) from the top outside edge of the frame (450). A first opening (410a) is a third distance (30) from the bottom outside edge of the frame and a second opening (410b) is a fourth distance (40) from the bottom outside edge of the frame.
Abstract:
A high-quality oxygen-absorbing resin composition which is obtained without suffering resin scorching. Also provided are pellets for the oxygen-absorbing resin composition which comprise a thermoplastic resin (A) and an oxidation catalyst. After the pellets are mixed with a trigger resin and a thermoplastic resin (C), the trigger resin functions as a trigger to cause the oxidation of the thermoplastic resins (A) and (C) to proceed. As a result, the resultant composition absorbs oxygen.
Abstract:
A fabricating method of a wiring board provided with passive elements is disclosed. The fabricating method includes coating one or both of resistive paste and dielectric paste on at least any one of first surfaces of a first metal foil and a second metal foil each of which has a first surface and a second surface; arranging an insulating board having thermo-plasticity and thermo-setting properties so as to face the first surface of the first metal foil, and arranging the first surface side of the second metal foil so as to face a surface different from a surface to which the first metal foil faces of the insulating board; forming a double-sided wiring board by stacking, pressurizing and heating the arranged first metal foil, insulating board, and second metal foil, and thereby integrating these; and patterning the first metal foil and/or the second metal foil.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for front to back substrate registration is described. Alignment characteristics of features on surfaces of substrates can be used to physically align substrates with a multiplicity of integrated alignment optics. Measurement of offsets of the integral alignment optics are used to compute registration data for use in calibration of the substrate global alignment.
