摘要: An image processing apparatus for storing and reading out image data. An authorization code inputting element reads in an authorization code from an authorization medium on which a particular authorization code is recorded and a user identification inputting element inputs user identification information including the individual user authorization number issued at the time of the user being registered. A user control element controls the users by the authorization code and the user identification information, and a function-limiting element limits the scope of functions that can be used by the user in case the user can not be identified by the inputted authorization code or the inputted user identification information. Thus, the storing of image data by an unidentified user can be blocked, and the confidentiality of stored imaged data can be secured.

摘要: A casting method is disclosed in which a resin core is fabricated by using a resin which maintains a mechanical strength satisfying a shape accuracy required for a cast product until solidification of molten metal in contact with the core and is softened when heated beyond the core temperature at which the molten metal in contact with the core was solidified. The removal of the resin core from the cast product after the cast product containing the core from a die, includes a step of forcedly cooling the cast product containing the core down to a predetermined temperature at which the resin core can be removed from the cast product without being broken apart by pulling one of its ends, and a step of withdrawing the core at the predetermined temperature from the cast product having been forcedly cooled down. It is thus possible to cool the core down to a predetermined temperature suited for the withdrawal and preclude the inconvenience that the core being pulled is broken apart.

摘要: A technique for an infrared radiation thermometer used for thermography detects measurement abnormality of the infrared radiation thermometer and estimates the causes of the measurement abnormality such as contamination of an objective lens and a malfunction in a mechanism section of the infrared radiation thermometer. The measurement abnormality detector has a dummy lens 21 placed in the periphery of the objective lens 11 of the thermometer 10 so as to be at a position and in an attitude that are more susceptible to contamination than the objective lens 11, a laser displacement meter 22 for projecting light to the dummy lens 21 at each predetermined time or at a predetermined timing, receiving the light reflected by the dummy lens 21, and measuring the quantity of the received light, and determination means 50 for calculating the attenuation rate of the projected light on the basis of the quantity of the received light measured by the laser displacement meter 22, estimating the degree of contamination of the dummy lens 21 on the basis of the calculated attenuation rate, and judging, on the basis of the degree of contamination of the dummy lens 21, the necessity of warning for contamination of the objective lens 11 and measurement abnormality of the thermometer 10.
