摘要： An objective of the present invention is to provide a lip type end face sealing device 6 having excellent sealability to different kinds of liquids on the both sides in the axial direction and having excellent durability. A case 61 tight fitted to an inner peripheral face 2a of a housing 2 comprises case members 611 and 612. One pair of seal lips 62 and 63 is integrally fitted to inner peripheral flange parts 611b and 612b, positioned oppositely each other in the axial direction, and opened in a tapered shape. One pair of the seal lips 62 and 63 is slidably contacted with flange parts 64b and 65b of slingers 64 and 65 tight fitted to an outer periphery of a rotary shaft 3. Pressure in seal internal spaces S2 between the both seal lips 62 and 63 and the both slingers 64 and 65 is released through a vent hole 22 opened on the inner peripheral face 2a of the housing 2, an air hole 611c opened on the case 61, and between the case members 611 and 612.

摘要： An upper limit value of an upward gradient of a road surface for starting neutral coasting is set to be larger than an upper limit of the upward gradient of the road surface for starting free-run coasting, so, when the upward gradient is relatively large and a coasting distance is short, the vehicle is caused to travel in the neutral coasting, and stop and restart of the engine are not carried out. Therefore, a decrease in drivability of the vehicle is suppressed. When the upward gradient is relatively small and the coasting distance is long, the vehicle is caused to travel in the free-run coasting, and supply of fuel to the engine is stopped, so fuel economy of the vehicle is obtained. Thus, it is possible to achieve both fuel economy and drivability of the vehicle during coasting on an upward gradient.

The vehicle control apparatus includes an eco-run system that automatically stops the engine when an automatic stop condition is established and restarts the engine when a restart condition is established, a throttle motor that opens and closes a throttle valve adjusting air amount to be sucked into the engine, and a vehicle speed sensor that detects the vehicle speed. The vehicle control apparatus is adapted to control the throttle motor to enlarge the throttle valve opening degree in response to the higher vehicle speed, according to the vehicle speed information from the vehicle speed sensor (Step S3 to Step S7), when the engine is automatically stopped while the vehicle is travelling (Step S2).

The hybrid vehicle switches a driving mode between a first driving mode in which the power split mechanism is switched to the differential state and a second driving mode in which the power split mechanism is switched to the non-differential state. The control apparatus calculates energy loss of the driving apparatus in each driving mode, and switches the driving mode of the vehicle based on the calculated energy loss.

摘要： Provided is a control device for a hybrid vehicle capable of attaining an assist torque generated by a clutch mechanism at an appropriate timing, upon starting the engine. Since an electronic control device outputs an engagement command for engaging a clutch (clutch mechanism) at a time preceding an (ignition) start command time for igniting an engine by a preceding-sending time, the clutch becomes engaged when the engine speed starts to increase, and the assist torque generated by the clutch mechanism can thus be obtained at an appropriate timing. Because the engine speed that was once increased upon starting the engine is not decreased, the energy that was consumed for starting the engine can be effectively used.
