摘要： A towel and mitt combination having a towel and a mitt is disclosed. In one configuration, the towel and mitt combination includes a towel that includes a front fastener. The towel and mitt combination also includes a mitt that includes a mitt fastener. The mitt fastener is configured to be releasably secured to the front fastener. The mitt is configured to be operatively and removably connected to the towel via the mitt fastener and the front fastener, when the mitt fastener is releasably secured to the front fastener. In another configuration, the towel includes a tab which includes the front fastener. These and other embodiments foster a coherent towel and mitt combination that enables a user to fasten a mitt to a towel with great convenience and ease.

摘要： A process for fabricating a three-dimensional, multi-layered fabric product with a moisture barrier is provided. A partially seamed inner lining fabric assembly having at least a two-dimensional shape is laminated with a membrane barrier film having flaps left un-laminated to cover at least one seam. The inner lining fabric assembly is further seamed and flaps of the of the membrane barrier film overlapped into contact with each other and sealed to provide a continuous moisture barrier. A process for fabricating a stretchable section of a garment with a moisture barrier is also provided. At least a section of a garment is formed from fibers arranged in a pattern having a direction of stretch in one direction and a three-dimensional surface texture such that a portion of the fibers protrude above another portion of the fibers. The stretchable section is stretched in the direction of stretch. Segments of a membrane barrier film are adhered to an outer edge of the protruding portion of the fibers while the section is stretched in the direction of stretch, leaving intermediate segments of the barrier film free from adherence to the section. In this way, the intermediate segments of the membrane barrier film include slack that folds up to form ruches when the section is in a relaxed state.

摘要： A hand warmer assembly and method of using the same. The hand-warmer assembly may include a portable hand-warmer, a pocket, closure mechanism, and a connector. The connector may include a strap and a clasp, with the strap first end located and connected adjacent the open end of the pocket. A second end of the strap may be coupled to a clasp that is configured to be secured to a sleeve or other clothing material such as a mitten or glove.

摘要： The present disclosure generally relates to intelligent garments that provide thermal regulation in a variety of environments. The garments may include different layers such as a hydrophilic layer in direct contact with a wearer's skin surface and saturated with an aqueous mixture, a spacer layer, a reflective layer, and an outer hydrophobic layer. The layers of the garment may work together to reduce the metabolic expenditure of the wearer in extreme environmental conditions or during demanding physical activity. A variety of sensors may be displaced throughout the garments so as to enable the collection of data associated with wearers as well as environmental conditions. Wearers may control the thermal balance and other properties of the garments as desired.

The stretchable section is stretched in the direction of stretch. Segments of a membrane barrier film are adhered to an outer edge of the protruding portion of the fibers while the section is stretched in the direction of stretch, leaving intermediate segments of the barrier film free from adherence to the section. In this way, the intermediate segments of the membrane barrier film include slack that folds up to form ruches when the section is in a relaxed state.
