摘要: A flowing direction of a cooling liquid introduced into a heat sink is a direction perpendicular to a stacking direction. Each of the plates has a plurality of holes. In a state in which the plates are stacked in the stacking direction, flow paths formed by the holes of the plates being connected to each other in the stacking direction and the flowing direction have helical shapes toward the flowing direction. Helix center axes at helix centers of the flow paths are formed in only one row in the stacking direction.

摘要: Embodiments relate generally to systems and methods for preventing arcing within a snap action switch, particularly by removing a portion of a contact carrier attached to a stationary contact. A method of forming a contact for use in a snap action switch may comprise welding a contact onto a contact carrier; trimming at least one edge of the contact carrier proximate to the contact; and installing the contact carrier into a snap action switch housing. Trimming the at least one edge of the contact carrier may also comprise removing flash formed during the welding of the contact to the contact carrier.

摘要: Provided are a cladding alloy powder that can increase the wear resistance of a cladding alloy to be deposited and a counterpart member adapted to contact the cladding alloy, and a method for producing an engine valve using the cladding alloy powder. The cladding alloy powder includes 0.2 to 0.5 mass % C, 30 to 45 mass % Mo, 15 to 35 mass % Ni, 0.5 to 2.0 mass % Zr, and a balance including Co with unavoidable impurities. The method for producing an engine valve includes melting the cladding alloy powder, and cladding a valve face portion of an engine valve adapted to contact a valve seat with the melted cladding alloy powder.

摘要: A first joining object and a second joining object are joined to each other using an insert material. The first joining object and/or the second joining object has a first metal composed of Sn or an alloy containing Sn. The insert material contains, as a main component, a second metal which is an alloy containing at least one selected from among Ni, Mn, Al and Cr, and Cu, and is located between the first joining object and the second joining object. When subjected to heat treatment to produce an intermetallic compound of the first metal and the second metal, the first joining object and the second joining object are joined to each other.

摘要: An ambigram coin comprises a coin body including a field having an obverse side, a reverse side, bound by a circumferential edge side, a central portion including a cut-out hollow ambigram legend therethrough. The ambigram coin includes two opposing cut-out hollow apertures that provide an opening through which a displaying device is passed therethrough. The ambigram coin includes a cut-out ambigram including the hollow letters “M” and “E”, ambigram “ME” at an obverse display position such that when the ambigram coin is vertically rotated symmetrically 180 degrees the cut-out ambigram “ME” reads as the cut-out ambigram “WE”, at a reverse display position. In another aspect, a kit is provided that includes an ambigram coin kit. In another embodiment, the ambigram coin further comprises a displaying device coupled to a connecting device so that the ambigram coin is used worn as jewelry.

摘要: A braze preform is provided that includes a filler metal and a luminescent material that covers at least a portion of the filler metal and that can luminesce when exposed to a black light. The luminescent material may include a luminescent ink and a solvent that are mixed together before being applied to filler metal. Presence of the braze preform may be determined using automated equipment by detecting luminescence of the braze preform with a sensor. A decision may be made on whether to advance a parts assembly for brazing based on the determination of presence or absence of the braze preform on such parts assembly.
