摘要： A method includes providing a first sheet and a second sheet, wherein at least one of the first or second sheet has a portion that is transparent; forming a first groove in a first surface of the first sheet adjacent to an edge of the first sheet; applying an adhesive material to an area of the first surface of the first sheet at least partially along a length of the first groove between the first groove and the adjacent edge of the first sheet; and pressing the second sheet against the first surface of the first sheet to adhere the second sheet to the first sheet. The first groove is arranged so as to substantially prevent the adhesive material from spreading past the first groove when the second sheet is pressed against the first sheet.

摘要： A method for manufacturing the cushioning elements may include utilizing a die with a plurality of die elements positioned in a particular arrangement. A polymer material, which may be a polymer foam material, is located between the die and an extractor. The polymer material is compressed between the die and the extractor, and the die elements cut the polymer material to form a plurality of pad components, which are arranged like the die elements. The die and the extractor are separated, and the pad components are secured to the extractor in the arrangement of the die elements. Additionally, the pad components are bonded to at least one material layer such that the pad components remain in the arrangement of the die elements.

摘要： A framing device, used for displaying items such as photographs, certificates and the like, includes a translucent sheet-like material having an outward side and an inward side, both having a common continuous edge. An adhesive is applied along the inward side adjacent to the continuous edge in such a manner that a portion of such edge remains adhesive-free. A sheet of backing material has a first side and a second side and the first side of such foam is positionally secured by the adhesive and with respect to the translucent material. And a release liner is attached to the second side of the backing material. The adhesive-free portion of the edge and the sheet of backing material define a slot permitting insertion and removal of an item to be displayed.

摘要： The present invention provides an adhesive preparation package containing an adhesive preparation and a packaging film(s) enclosing said preparation, the packaging films being heat-sealed around the adhesive preparation, wherein the heat-sealed portion of the packaging film comprises an embossed heat-sealed portion and a flat heat-sealed portion, and the embossed heat-sealed portion and the flat heat-sealed portion each form a pattern surrounding the periphery of the adhesive preparation. The adhesive preparation package of the present invention is free of occurrence of pinholes in a heat-sealed portion and can maintain superior air-tightness and sterility.

摘要： A welding method controls the welding temperature, welding cycle time, and welding pressure for fabrication of composite structural parts. A welding unit welds multiple plies of thermoplastic prepreg into welded multi-ply assemblies by concentrating welds along the thermoplastic prepreg plies at localized and strategic positions. Two platens weld a plurality of the multi-ply assemblies into a layup using a plurality of heated pins. The heated pins are hollow to reduce surface heating during welding and are non-uniformly shaped to allow indexing of the layup.
