摘要:
Compounds of formula (I): where n, R1, R4a, R4b, R5, R7 and R8 are defined herein, or pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof, are described herein. The disclosed compounds have activity as SHIP1 modulators, and thus may be used to treat any of a variety of diseases, disorders or conditions that would benefit from SHIP1 modulation. Compositions comprising a compound of formula (I) in combination with a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier or diluent are also disclosed, as are methods of SHIP1 modulation by administration of such compounds to an animal in need thereof.
摘要:
The present invention provides a compound represented by general formula I or a pharmaceutical acceptable salt thereof, the preparation method therefor and the use thereof in preparing a medicine for treating a neurological disease, such as epilepsy, convulsion, neuropathic pain, acute ischemic stroke, and a neurodegenerative disease. The compound according to present invention has a better absorption in brain tissue when compared with RTG. In addition, the compound provided by present invention has not only a greatly enhanced efficacy, but also a neurotoxicity greatly lower than that of RTG, and thus possesses a wider safety window.

Compounds, pharmaceutical compositions including the compounds, and methods of preparation and use thereof are disclosed. The compounds are fulvene and/or fulvalene analogs. The compounds and compositions can be used to treat and/or prevent a wide variety of cancers, including drug resistant cancers, as well as numerous inflammatory, degenerative and vascular diseases, including various ocular diseases. Representative fulvene and/or fulvalene analogs include fulvene and fulvalene analogs of various dyes, hormones, sugars, peptides, oligonucleotides, amino acids, nucleotides, nucleosides, and polyols. The compounds are believed to function, at least, by inhibiting Nox or ROS. In some embodiments, the Nox is one that is selectively expressed in cancer cells over normal cells, or one that is expressed in higher amounts in cancer cells over normal cells. Thus, the compounds are novel therapeutic agents for a variety of cancers and other diseases.

There is provided a process for preparing sorafenib or a salt thereof comprising the use of a compound of formula (A) wherein R′ is selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, —C(O)OA, —C(O)CX3, —C(O)NH2, —C(O)—NHOH or There is also provided intermediate compounds of general formula (A), N-methyl-4-(4-ureidophenoxy)picolinamide, 4-(2-(methylcarbamoyl)pyridin-4-yloxy)phenylcarbamate derivative and N-methyl-4-(4-(2,2,2-trihaloacetamido)phenoxy)picolinamide, processes for their preparation and their use in the preparation of sorafenib.
摘要:
A method of increasing expression of a molecular chaperon by a cell and/or enhancing the activity of a molecular chaperon in cells is provided. The method comprises treating a cell that is exposed to a physiological stress which induces expression of a molecular chaperon by the cell with an effective amount of a certain hydroxylamine derivative to increase the stress. Alternatively, an hydroxylamine derivative can be administrated to a cell before it is exposed to a physiological stress which induces expression of a molecular chaperon by the cell. Preferably, the cell to which an hydroxylamine derivative is administered is an eukaryotic cell. The hydroxylamine derivative corresponds to the formulae (I) or (II).The invention also provides novel hydroxylamine derivatives falling within the scope of the formulae (I) and (II) as well as pharmaceutical and/or cosmetical compositions comprising the said compounds.
