摘要: The present invention relates to a tricresyl phosphate-free oil which can be used as lubricant or hydraulic oil. The oil is distinguished by extremely low human toxicity. In particular, the oil is suitable as turbine oil, i.e. as lubricant oil in aircraft turbines, with which, in the case of a fume event, symptoms of the aerotoxic syndrome in aircraft passengers can be prevented. In addition, the present invention relates to the corresponding use of the turbine oil according to the invention for the prophylaxis of the aerotoxic syndrome in the case of a fume event. In addition, the invention describes a turbine which contains a corresponding turbine oil as lubricant. Furthermore, the method for operating a turbine is indicated.

摘要: A multilayer paper-based wet friction material of an automotive auto transmission may improve noise and vibration characteristics, heat resistance, wear resistance, compression resistance, and oil absorbency. The paper-based wet friction material of an automotive auto transmission includes: a first layer using cellulose pulp as a matrix and including a first functional additive; a second layer stacked on the first layer, using the cellulose pulp as the matrix, and including the second functional additive; and a hydrogen bonding layer mediating between the first layer and the second layer. The cellulose pulp of the first and second layers is cotton linter.

摘要: Novel nonionic cellulose ethers exhibit a reduced degree of thermal thinning and are efficient thickeners at elevated temperatures. The nonionic cellulose ether has hydroxyethyl groups and is further substituted with one or more hydrophobic substituents. The cellulose ether further has at least one of the properties a), b) or c): a) a retained dynamic viscosity, % η80/25, of at least 30 percent, wherein % η80/25=[dynamic solution viscosity at 80° C./dynamic solution viscosity at 25° C.] 100, the dynamic solution viscosity at 25° C. and 80° C. being measured as 1% aqueous solution; b) a storage modulus of at least 15 Pascals at 25° C. and a retained storage modulus, % G′80/25, of at least 12 percent, wherein % G′80/25=[storage modulus at 80° C./storage modulus at 25° C.] 100, the storage modulus at 25° C. and 80° C. being measured as a 1% aqueous solution; c) a critical association concentration of less than 15 ppm as measured by light-scattering.

摘要: A novel and environmentally friendly lignin based lubricant composition in the form of oil, gel, grease, paste, solid, or water/glycol emulsion comprising lignin and/or its derivatives with a dosage ranging from 0.01 to 95 wt %, preferably 0.1% to 80 wt %, or even more preferably 0.5 to 60 wt % dispersed in at least one or more components selected from 1) base oils, 2) surfactants or coupling agents, 3) lubricant additives, or 4) grease thickeners of soap or non-soap type whereupon the said composition was found to exhibit novel and synergistic performance benefits such as, but not limited to, antioxidancy, extreme pressure, antiwear, lubricity as well as a rheology modifying characteristics, e.g. thickening effect, for a broad range of lubricant, grease, or oil field drilling applications.

摘要: A process for manufacturing a lubricant composition comprises combining a superabsorbent polymer with a material for decreasing friction between surfaces that frictionally engage one another, by polymerizing monomers of the superabsorbent polymer with the material for decreasing friction, or polymerizing the monomers for forming the superabsorbent polymer with the material for decreasing friction and a binder, where the binder is selected from thermoplastic resins or curable resins. The superabsorbent polymer may comprise a polymer of acrylic acid, an acrylic ester, acrylonitrile or acrylamide, including co-polymers thereof or starch graft co-polymers thereof or mixtures thereof. The material for decreasing friction comprises a petroleum lubricant, synthetic lubricant, grease, solid lubricant or metal working lubricant optionally containing a lubricant additive, or mixtures thereof. The process encompasses conducting the polymerization and coating the lubricant composition on a surface such as a wire or cable. The various processes also yield products produced by the process.

摘要: A process is disclosed for manufacturing a lubricant composition comprising combining a superabsorbent polymer with a material for decreasing friction between moving surfaces. The superabsorbent polymer absorbs from about 25 to greater than 100 times its weight in water and may comprise a polymer of acrylic acid, an acrylic ester, acrylonitrile or acrylamide, including co-polymers thereof or starch graft co-polymers thereof or mixtures thereof. A product produced by the process includes the material for decreasing friction comprising a petroleum lubricant containing an additive, water containing an additive, synthetic lubricant, grease, solid lubricant or metal working lubricant, wherein the synthetic lubricant, grease, solid lubricant or metal working lubricant optionally contain an additive. A process comprising controlling the delivery of a lubricant to at least one of two moving surfaces in order to decrease friction between said moving surfaces, is also disclosed. This process includes applying the lubricant composition to at least one of the surfaces. The lubricant composition in this instance comprises a superabsorbent polymer combined with a material for decreasing friction between moving surfaces, wherein the material for decreasing friction comprises a petroleum lubricant, water, synthetic lubricant, grease, solid lubricant or metal working lubricant, and optionally an additive.

摘要: A powder metal mixture comprises a lubricant powder conventionally used to produce powder metal parts in combination with a modified lubricant. A lubricant conventionally used to compact and sinter a chosen powder metal mixture is modified by adding to it starch particles smaller than the average metal particle, and optionally, micronized cellulose fibers in so small an amount that the modified lubricant is present in an amount less than 2% by weight of the mixture. The Hall apparent density and the Hall flow rate of a powder metal mixture made with the modified lubricant of starch or (starchnullfibers) remains within the ranges deemed desirable for production of compacted powder metal parts. Using the modified lubricant in lieu of the conventional lubricant increases green strength of a part made by compacting the mixture and improves dimensional conformance.

This entry sheet for drilling includes a metallic support foil and a layer comprising a resin composition that is formed on at least one surface of the metallic support foil, wherein the resin composition contains a cellulose derivative (A) and a water-soluble resin (B), the cellulose derivative (A) includes a hydroxyalkyl cellulose and/or a carboxyalkyl cellulose having a weight average molecular weight of 20,000 to 350,000, and based on 100 parts by mass of the resin composition, the content of the cellulose derivative (A) is 5 to 40 parts by mass and the content of the water-soluble resin (B) is 60 to 95 parts by mass.
