    摘要: Front-end circuitry for a data receiver and related systems, methods, and devices are disclosed. The front-end circuitry includes a passive equalizer, which includes a signal input, an equalizer output including a first equalizer output and a second equalizer output, a first signal path, and a second signal path. The first signal path is between the signal input and the first equalizer output. The first signal path has a first frequency response. The second signal path is between the signal input and the second equalizer output. The second signal path has a second frequency response. The second frequency response exhibits substantially inverse behavior to that of the first frequency response. An amplifier circuit is configured to combine a first equalizer output signal from the first equalizer output with a second equalizer output signal from the second equalizer output to obtain an equalized output signal.

    摘要: An equalizer includes a circuit board and a compensation module. The compensation module includes first and second transmission lines, first to fourth resistors, and first to fourth micro-strips. Two vias extend through the circuit board and are grounded. First terminals of the first and second resistors are electrically connected to the ground layer through the first via. First terminals of the third and fourth resistors are electrically connected to the ground layer through the second via. A second terminal of the first resistor is electrically connected to the first transmission line through the first micro-strip, and is further electrically connected to a second terminal of the second resistor through the second micro-strip. A second terminal of the third resistor is electrically connected to the second transmission line through the third micro-strip, and is further electrically connected to a second terminal of the fourth resistor through the fourth micro-strip.

    摘要: An equalizer for compensating transmission losses of electronic communication signals includes a circuit board and a compensation module. The compensation module includes a pair of input pins, a pair of output pins, first and second resistors, first and second vias, and a pair of micro-strips. When a signal transmitted by the circuit board is received by the input pins, a first part of the signal is directly outputted from the output pins, a second part of the signal is reflected by the first resistor and transmitted back to the output pins to be outputted, and a third part of the signal is reflected by the second resistor and transmitted back to the output pins to be outputted, such that the output of the equalizer applies two stages of compensation.

An apparatus, includes a broadband RF input, a plurality of band pass filters coupled to the broadband RF input, at least one power measurement circuit coupled to the plurality of band pass filters and an adaptive equalizer circuit coupled to the at least one power power measurement circuit and the plurality of band pass filters, wherein the at least one power measurement circuit provides control signals to the adaptive equalizer circuit as a function of measured power at each of the plurality of band pass files and wherein the adaptive equalizer circuit flattens excessive non-linear frequency response of the broadband RF input.

The transmission line has a substrate, a ground plane, a defect ground structure, a pair of transmission conducting lines, and at least one stub. The substrate has a plurality of surfaces. The ground plane is located on at least one of the surfaces. The defect ground structure is formed on the ground plane. The pair of transmission conducting lines is located on one of the surfaces, and stretching over the defect ground structure. The at least one stub is located above a plane of the defect ground structure, extending along with at least one side of two sides of the pair of the transmission conducting lines, and electrically coupled to the pair of the transmission conducting lines and the ground plane.

    摘要: An apparatus includes a capacitor coupled between a first node responsive to receive an input signal and a second node. The apparatus includes a first circuit coupled to the second node and a third node. The first circuit is selectively operable to separately configure at least one of a low-frequency gain of an equalizer and a pole of the equalizer. The equalizer includes the first circuit and the capacitor. The second node is responsive to receive an equalized version of an AC signal of the input signal in a first mode of the apparatus. The second node is responsive to receive a non-equalized version of the AC signal of the input signal in a second mode of the apparatus. The equalized version of the AC signal of the input signal may be a level-shifted and equalized version of the AC signal in the first mode of the apparatus.
