摘要: A sound- and vibration-dampening (NVH) layered composition may be prepared by spraying or spray-foaming a polyurethane heavy layer, and spray-foaming a flexible polyurethane foam layer, under conditions such that the two layers bond integrally with one another without use of glue or other adhesive. Additional layers, that are the same as, or different from, these two layers may also be included in the composition. The layered composition may be used in, for example, automotive applications. The method is faster and requires less hardware and space than conventional methods that include gluing steps or employ heavy molds to withstand the pressures generated therein by methods such as injecting or pouring; however, it may still attain relatively uniform thicknesses even when spraying is done on a substrate that does not become part of the final construction.

摘要: A method of forming a mesh by a moulding a link element around other link elements to form a mesh in which the interlinking link elements are formed as continuous unjoined loops by a moulding process. An apparatus for forming a mesh including a plurality of first cavities for accommodating first link elements and a plurality of second cavities for forming interlinking link elements. The method and apparatus allow the continuous production of mesh formed of a range of materials including plastics materials.

摘要: This invention refers to synthetic decorative coverings in order to cover and protect trafficable surfaces. More specifically, it refers to a novel structure and composition of a nonslip floor for heavy traffic and the process for the obtaining thereof; characterized in that it consists of a multilayer structure, consisting of a first upper layer, highly resistant to wear and tear, consisting of a solid, color calendared film with an upper surface and a lower surface, where the upper surface has engravings or embossed patterns; a second layer of high resilience, consisting of a colored, foamed calendared film with an upper surface and a lower surface, with the upper surface being thermoadhered to the lower surface of said first layer; a third layer of high adhesion to the surfaces whereupon it is placed, consisting of a mesh covered with foam, consisting of an upper surface and a lower surface, with the upper surface being joined to the lower surface of said second layer of high resilience by means of an adhesive. Said third layer of high adhesion defines an upper surface including open spaces that grip to the surface where it is placed.

摘要: In garments with a foamed net used as a clothing material (inter-lining), a clothing material is provided that is light-weight and easy-moving, and has improved warmth retaining property, cushioning property and buoyancy without spoiling the feeling of the garment to the wearer and does not cause cost increases or disadvantages in production. A foamed net in a meshed shape being constituted with a plurality of foamed strands intersected and simultaneously welded together at intersection points is inserted between an outer cloth and a lining cloth. The foamed strands may have a cross section form of elliptical shape with different ratios of height to width and the foamed strands are welded together so that the height direction of the cross section form may be orthogonal or almost orthogonal to the face of the net.

摘要: A laminated construction is formed of at least one layer of foamed mesh. In one embodiment, multiple layers of foamed mesh are built up and provided with outer layers suitable to make an insulation panel. In another embodiment, a block is formed of laminated layers of the foamed mesh and cut out to form recesses to receive items for packaging purposes. In another embodiment, a foamed layer is secured along two longitudinal edges to a non-porous layer and filled with loose fill elements for use as a drainage pipe. In another embodiment, a foamed tube is secured at one end to a non-porous layer to form a bag for use in planting flowers and the like.

摘要: A plastic component with a base body made of a rigid foam material is connected with a grid-like net structure. According to one aspect of the present invention, the grid-like net structure has a tear-resistant core material that is surrounded by a mantle material. In this example, the mantle material is in frictional connection with the foam material of the base body that allows, for example, cracking off of fragments from the plastic component to be significantly reduced.
