摘要: Compositions for producing a rigid polyurethane foam are described, comprising at least one isocyanate component, a polyol component, optionally a catalyst which catalyzes the formation of a urethane or isocyanurate bond, wherein the composition has hydrocarbons having 3, 4 or 5 carbon atoms, hydrofluorocarbons, hydrofluoroolefins (HFO), hydrohaloolefins, oxygen-containing blowing agents and/or chlorohydrocarbons as blowing agent, and also comprises acrylate and/or methacrylate copolymers as foam stabilizers.

摘要: A composite material that is a copolymer of at least (i) a functionalised carbon nanoparticle, (ii) a polyol, (iii) a compound comprising at least two isocyanate groups, wherein the functionalised carbon nanoparticle and the polyol are covalently bonded by a urethane and optionally a urea and/or an amide linkage, and a process for producing the same. The composite materials are suitable for use in moulded articles for implantation within a mammal.

摘要: The present invention is an optical material composition containing (A) 100 parts by mass of a polymerizable monomer, and (B) 0.001 to 0.3 parts by mass of a UV absorbent having a maximum absorption wavelength of 360 nm or more and less than 380 nm and having a specific structure, and an optical material formed of the composition. According to the present invention, there can be provided an optical material composition containing a UV absorbent and having good long-term storage stability, and an optical material formed of the composition, in particular, an optical material composition capable of forming a plastic lens having a high blue light cut rate.

Also, a composition obtained by the reaction of at least one thermoplastic polyurethane or thermoplastic polyurethane precursors and of at least one polyamide comprising amine chain ends, processes for preparing such compositions and articles made therefrom.

摘要: Aqueous polyurethane dispersions and coatings and heat-activatable adhesives made from the dispersions are disclosed. The dispersions include a polyurethane reaction product of a polyester polyol and a polyisocyanate. The polyester polyol comprises recurring units of at least one C2-C6 aliphatic diol, at least one aliphatic or cycloaliphatic C4-C10 dicarboxylic acid, and an aromatic diacid source, which can be recycled PET. The dispersion is formulated using 1 to 3 moles of an acid-functional diol per mole of polyester polyol. Dispersions for the adhesives are produced at NCO/OH molar ratios within the range of 0.90 to 0.98. The adhesives successfully bond a wide range of plastic and metal materials, often demonstrating substrate failure, even with steel. This contrasts with commercial adhesives such as EVA that exhibit only adhesive failure with the same substrates.

摘要: Disclosed a no-added formaldehyde composite wood product binder, a no-added formaldehyde composite wood product manufactured by same, and a preparation method for the composite wood product. The no-added formaldehyde composite wood product binder comprises an agent A and an agent B. The agent A is an isocyanate-based binder, and the agent B is an aqueous dispersion of polyester based aliphatic polyurethane and/or a modified polyester-based aliphatic polyurethane. The no-added formaldehyde composite wood product is formed under hot-pressing after a wooden and/or straw material is mixed with the no-added formaldehyde composite wood product binder. The composite wood product manufactured by the no-added formaldehyde composite wood product binder has excellent water-proof and mechanical properties and a good saw cutting performance, and the amount of isocyanate used is also reduced, thereby reducing costs.

The multilayer thermoplastic polymer film may possess beneficial and desirable properties useful in protecting surfaces from harmful environmental conditions or elements, such as for example, stain and scratch resistance as well as high gloss. Methods of making the multilayer film with interpenetrating polymer network are also provided.
