摘要: Methods of obtaining a titanium dioxide nanofilm or microfilm are provided herein. A pure sheet of titanium is irradiated with a CO2 laser to produce the titanium dioxide nanofilm or microfilm. The titanium sheet can optionally be doped with an oxide, such as barium oxide. The method produces titanium dioxide nanofilms or microfilms that can be produced in more than one phase, such as a rutile phase, an anatase phase, or both combined. The titanium dioxide nanofilms or microfilms can be directly fabricated with high purity without any further processing.

摘要: Described herein is a continuous coil pretreatment process used to treat the surface of an aluminum alloy sheet or coil for subsequent deposition of an acidic organophosphorus compound. The process can include applying a cleaner to a surface of an aluminum sheet or a coil; etching the surface of the aluminum sheet or the coil with an acidic solution; rinsing the surface of the aluminum sheet or the coil with deionized water; applying to the surface of the aluminum sheet or the coil a solution of an acidic organophosphorus compound; rinsing the surface of the aluminum sheet or the coil with deionized water; and drying the surface of the aluminum sheet or the coil.

摘要: Provided is an Al-plated hot stamped steel material comprising a steel base material, an Al-plating layer formed on at least one surface of the steel base material, and a chemical conversion coating formed on the Al-plating layer and containing zinc phosphate-based crystals and Ce-based compounds deposited on the surfaces of the zinc phosphate-based crystals, wherein an amount of deposition of the zinc phosphate-based crystals in the chemical conversion coating is, converted to metal Zn, 0.3 to 4.0 g/m2 and an area ratio of the Ce-based compounds in the chemical conversion coating is 0.5 to 25%.

摘要: An antimicrobial medical device that includes a substrate having a metal surface that is made from a metal or metal alloy that may include stainless steel, cobalt, and titanium. Disposed on the metal surface is a first antimicrobial oxide layer that includes an antimicrobial metal that may include silver, copper, and zinc, and combinations thereof. The atoms of antimicrobial metal in the first antimicrobial oxide layer are of a first concentration. The first antimicrobial oxide layer is positioned in a direction opposite that of the metal surface. The device further includes a second antimicrobial oxide layer that includes an antimicrobial metal that may be silver, copper, and zinc, and combinations thereof. The atoms of the antimicrobial metal present in the second antimicrobial oxide layer are of a second concentration. The first concentration and the second concentration are not equal. Methods for making the antimicrobial medical device are also disclosed.

摘要: Improved aluminum can end stock (CES) is disclosed. The CES includes an adhered polymer coating exhibiting low feathering and high performance in various acid tests. The low feathering and resistance to acid tests is accomplished by incorporating a copolymer adhesion promoter film to an aluminum alloy before lamination. In some cases, the metal strip is pretreated with a conversion layer, which can include compounds of trivalent chromium (Cr(III)) and phosphates or titanium and zirconium.

摘要: A structural member may include a primary metal member having a metal surface containing iron, the metal surface susceptible to corrosion, and a protective outer coating formed on the metal surface to resist corrosion. The coating may include a polyaspartic top coat layer and a passivation layer. The coating may be formed of a first part including an inorganic acid phosphate mixture and a second part including an inorganic alkaline metal oxide or hydroxide mixture. The first part may include an inorganic acid phosphate mixture having acidic phosphate component, filler, water as solvent, suspension agent, and nonionic surfactant. The second part may include an inorganic alkaline metal oxide or hydroxide mixture having metal oxide or hydroxide, filler, water as solvent, suspension agent, and surfactant.

The present invention additionally relates to a coating of a metal surface that can be obtained by the method for treating a metal surface as defined above, to a metal surface comprising the coating and to the use of the solution in an anti-corrosion treatment of a metal surface.

摘要: Disclosed is a composite coating for eliminating pollution by chromium and VOCs from a source, the coating comprising a conversion film layer and a coating surface layer. The conversion film layer is made of a surface pretreatment liquid, and the surface pretreatment liquid comprises the following components: an organic compound A having an aromatic ring and at least two phenolic hydroxyl groups in the molecule thereof, or a hydrate thereof; an ionic compound B containing zirconium and/or titanium and fluorine; a mixed solution C containing manganese fluoride; and an inorganic salt D containing potassium ions or sodium ions. The coating surface layer is an FEVE-type fluorocarbon powder coating layer. Also disclosed is a preparation method for the described composite coating.
