    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a piezoelectric actuator hardly failed with simplifying the device structure while inhibiting the generation of short between electrodes.
    SOLUTION: An ink-jet head includes a head body and a flexible printed circuit board 50. The flexible printed circuit board 50 is equipped with a base film 46 and a conductor pattern 47. At the position facing against a land layer 36 of the base film 46, a projection 51 and a recess 52 are formed. The conductor pattern 47 is composed of a terminal 48a formed on the projection 51 and a wiring 48b pulled out from the terminal 48a to the fixed-end side of the flexible printed circuit board 50. The terminal 48a has a protrusion 55 by the projection 51. The flexible printed circuit board 50 is joined with an actuator unit 21 of the head body using an adhesive 56 arranged around the protrusion 55 of the terminal 48a.
